I am in grad school and want an alternative to OneNote for taking class notes I thought this was going to be the perfect app but I was so very wrong First this doesn t let me arrange the notes in the order I want I only have 3 options date created date modified name None of those work for me Second grouping notes is tedious and time consuming With the number of slide sets I have to import for each class it will take way too much time for me to keep them organized I want an app that saves me time Finally the app will not let me take notes outside of the slide space I cannot scroll to the right for example to add info This gives me way too little space in which to take notes for a slide I m sorry I ever purchased this app and wish I could get my 5 back     Terrible for school ClarityRose

This app is ok and maybe good depending on what you want it to do I was hoping it could compete with those 10 note taking apps but it doesn t It doesn t use the speech to text feature like the pre installed notes app on the device This is critical when I use it to help with my dyslexic daughter Also it cannot convert handwriting to text It would be nice if you could have pressure sensitivity for the Apple pen or more pen choices on board             Ok not good hl-x-4

I thought OCR was going to be used to make my handwritten notes more readable A bit of a disappointment because my handwriting isn t any more readable than pencil and paper Notes and Pages are free from Apple with all the same features except your bad handwriting         Just a fancy version of Notes JS Lurkin

I have tried so many programs for keeping track of my notes I didn t want one with a lot of bells and whistles as long as it just let me create a lot of notes without getting bogged down and going slower Having backups is also important to me I finally gave this app a try and so far it has kept my data backed up and it has not ran any slower once I had a lot of notes in there I didn t need the ability to handwrite or to draw or at least I thought I didn t but to be honest I ve really enjoyed having that feature It s been fun to add little diagrams to my notes and it sure makes math easier My advice to anyone not good at drawing or writing with a stylus you can do pretty good if you use the zoom in feature that this app allows With it anyone can make good looking notes                     Totally impressed BenGenGal

This is a wonderful app for note taking The interface is not cluttered It leaves a lot of space for note taking The shapes feature is great but it could use a little bit of fine tuning I love that you can take audio notes as well it works very well with the Apple Pencil In the future versions I d like to see more pen thickness options ability to export a page as a PDF attachment and standard page sizes Letter A4 etc Totally worth the money With a bit of fine tuning this could be the best note taking app out there                     Elegant design and functionality ADPande

I have been on the search for the best note taking app for college I have purchased around 100 in these types of apps and I thought this one would be the one Unfortunately it falls short First off let s start with the good it does everything that it advertises takes notes audio recordings audio does sync with your handwriting PDF annotating compatible with Apple Pencil bookshelf view is beautiful the writing menu isn t in the way or flashy The best part is that one purchase covers all iOS This doesn t happen too often nowadays Now in my opinion the bad no choice in paper template writing lag on the 12 9 iPad Pro writing doesn t feel natural highlighting cannot make automatic straight lines lack of pen styles All in all not the best app out there I will stick with Notability for now However I will not give up on this app Hoping it ll get better             Not what is hyped up to be zjrichter

Update 6 27 17 The issue described below concerning the saving of state has improved considerably over the last couple of releases which almost makes the app usable at work although there is room for improvement I m guessing this is memory management issue In any case the improvement warrants two more stars Whink really has a lot going for it with the right features that I need and very easy to use I purchased the Premium version in order to support future development Perhaps Whink is a good choice for taking notes in a lecture but unfortunately it still falls short when it comes to jotting down ideas at work The big difference between Whink and a notable competitor is that when your iPad goes to sleep Whink forgets it place and you must hunt around in the document to find where you were working That s no good when you are trying to use the app to quickly write notes throughout the day That other app opens your document exactly where you left it hours earlier Huge huge feature and the only thing that keeps me from using Whink for work I m disappointed the developers won t take this problem seriously                 Cannot save state ItsCosmo

I have been needing an app that will let me directly highlight on top of my typed notes and this app is it It s a hassle to have to stop and select a word then select the several words you want the system to highlight and this app gives you a highlighter as if you were physically highlighting over a printed copy of your notes It is all beautifully designed Almost perfect I just wish that you could create folders within the app instead of just having individual files                     What I ve been looking for Kassydear

I really love this note taking app The interface is elegant and friendly The ink style is gorgeous making me under the impression that I am using an old fashioned quill Recording while taking notes is the most useful easier to locate what people are actually talking about But it is not perfect There are still plenty of improvements needed to be done Performance is not at its best comparing to other note taking apps like GoodNotes especially when recording the latency of ink increases notably The effect of eraser is not precise Can t name a file when exporting Hope this app can get better and better                     Absolutely delightful but improvements needed Aintnece
