Seeing how I play Warhammer 2nd Edition I absolutely love this app My only complaint is that Ive played this app since it came on the market the whole time waiting for Wissenland to open up and nothing Why no Wissenland Besides that it is an amazing app to play                 Love it

Once I spend 5 on a game I dont expect to be nickel and dimed the entire time to spend more money Not to mention all their IAPs are ridiculously priced 299 PER EXTRA CHARACTER Honestly the game is just okay to begin with There are better games out there for iPad like Baulders Gate1 2 Dont waste your time here unless you want to end up spending 2030 for the complete game And you could actually spend more if you want I could understand if it was a better game but its just okay Highly overrated     Appalling IAP Design

Okay first off this game is fun the stories and randomness keeps you entertained But my goodness Ive spent 50 and only have one max level guy only bought one additional content and one character and 20 worth of coins and still have to manage my money This game is great but everything either needs to be cheaper or more coins need to be offered for less money or more coins in game you could easily spend 100 on this game and not be able to access everything I paid 299 for a two handed sword that hits me and my party on backfires then it does hit enemies Need some free things and more items Ive only found two pieces for the warrior priest and nothing in the market              Have paid over 50 and still cant afford things

Ok first off you charge for the gamethen load it with iaps and expansions Then you dont unlock characters as you progress you have to buy them There is only a small map to start with and they believe its worth five bucks The gameplay is ok but I should be able to free roam when not in battle Sorry but I wouldnt recommend buying this        I feel robbed

The game starts great youll really like it If youre like me you after much delay finally shelled the cash to purchase a more expensive app youll be surprised when every character for many of the items you find is an additional in app purchase Then when you finally get out of the basic area you have to buy new zones Unless you like shelling 20 on an app avoid it like the plague           Gets you hooked then forces purchases

I understand paying extra for items or gold Or even some unique characters But not for the game itself If the game was 15 dollars to begin with i wouldnt have downloaded it     5 dollar is a only a part of the game Feel cheated

Then you pay for zones        Too small of free area

The game is pretty good then you find out the weapon you just had one of your characters die for a weapon that can only be used by a character you need to pay for They arent trying to nickel and dime you its almost as much as the game to unlock this stuff 5 for part of a game 4 to unlock different enemies 3 to unlock a new character 5 to unlock a new town a 1000 to unlock a new dungeon skin Are we paying for freeium games now What the hell is this Its a rip off thats what it is You made something tell me what its worth so I can decide if I want to pay for it or not You said give us 5 I said ok and you said wheres the rest of my money Its at the very least dishonest     I feel cheated

This game is amazing More than I expected actually For all the bad ratings people post about too sucky or glitchy etc I dont see what theyre talking about This game is perfect for rpgactionadventure lovers The gameplay graphics storyline and price are fantastic Thanks for being one of the only four apps I have And Im EXTREMELY picky about my apps VERY                 Better than I expected

One of the best iOS games Ive played in a while however the one downside is that you only have access to 13 of the game for free and to get any other characters it costs about 299 a piece              Really fun however

Ive enjoyed this game but keep in mind you are only getting a small piece of the full game There is one add on the Necromancers and Skeletons pack that should be called the Total Party Kill pack Unless you can kill the Necromancer right away your party will be overwhelmed by skeletons and additional necromancers that you have no hope of defeating The Necromancer stuns your party makes certain characters disappear and the skeletons finish off your pitiful band God help you if you play hardcore difficulty You will need to uninstall the game losing your campaign and reinstall it and your purchased addons minus the Necromancers pack              Necromancers addon breaks the game

I am absolutely loving my playthroughs of this game I also have purchased all of the DLC and I have no regrets However there are a couple of things that potential customers may want to keep in mind 1 There will never be a point in the game where your characters are so powerful that they cannot be defeated On the upside there is no such thing as a useless health potion 2 The game simulates dice rolls for everything These dice rolls determine many things including which skills your characters get at levelup which stats improve at levelup what kind of random encounters your party gets and how many random encounters your party gets As a result it is possible to have a run of bad luck and be forced to fight through a ton of ambushes in a single dungeon On the upside it is also possible to have a run of good luck and find some awesome loot                 Excellent Tabletop Roguelike RPG on iOS

Loved the game on my iPhone and iPad It worked great transferring progress in app purchases and such back and forth then the last update My iPhone works just fine but my iPad will not sync with the iCloud even though thats what the update was reportedly supposed to correct Ive tried multiple trouble shooting solutions on my end to include uninstalling the game and reinstalling Nothing works Only works on my iPhone 5 Hope they fix it soon        To sad

I like this game but I am so tired of restarting at every dungeon and every town visit The gratuitous but beautiful animation in the town gets irritating when you see it after every crash     Crashes every 5 minutes

I might spend more money on the game if they made some things fair 2999 for just enough coins to level up your crew to level 6 is insane Also the inventory situation is massively limited in fact the inventory situation is one of my biggest gripes its just weird the way they set it up a potion takes up the same slot as a sword or armor I dont want to buy other characters because I cant even save up equipment for them with out stifling my adventure crew Potions are so crazy expensive and for 1 lousy turn for that kind of money they should be good for a whole dungeon All in all it is fun however there are serious balance issues and this is probably one of the most greedy games I have ever played shame on you Rodeo I might spend the money if I didnt feel like I was getting robbed        Its fun but

I have an iPhone 6 128 Gb and an IPad 2 128 Gb This game works beautifully on the 6 not so much on the iPad I would recommend playing it on the hardcore level otherwise its to easy I have bought some IAP and they are fun I think they are a little overpriced                 Great game if on good hardware

Love this game and have been a long time fan since the board game came out when I was a kid but The new update deleted ALL my saved games characters and progress AND all my inapp purchases and refuses to update or restore them Obviously its not working and the developers need to fix it ASAP do not update your version     Beware this new update

Being a paid game 5 bucks should mean that for the most part the in app purchases iaps should be kept to a minimumhowever this game has some of the worst iaps Ive ever seen Often missions will award you special gear for characters that cost three dollars to unlock Overall there is approximately an extra 20 dollars to get the full experience with this game when so much extra content is wagged in your face it makes me regret buying this game If you dont mind iaps this is a pretty cool semihardcore rpg thats easy to pick up and play on the go Wait til its on sale though with all of the content missing its not worth 5 dollars        Fun rpg with terrible in app purchases

This game is putting Hero Quest on steroids on your phone Amazing graphics great characters with tons of upgrades and weaponsspells Plenty of missions for an absolute challenge and 4050 hours of game play You have to be willing to spend 2545 more after the purchase of the game to really experience the greatness they have created here but if you have the money do it No regrets Id buy it again and again and again                 BEST GAME ON THE MARKET

A lot of the dungeons provide a challenge You stand a real chance of losing some characters And then there are the times where necromancers and vampires spawn back to back This isnt a challenge its literally a slaughter Normally that might seem like hyperbole but no when a single necromancer can disable your entire party each turn with one spell that has no counter works at any distance and doesnt even require line of sight and simultaneously raise 4 or 5 new enemies and then because you literally cant take any actions eventually though really its usually just a turn or two a vampire spawns with 4 attacks per turn who can ALSO disable your entire party with one spellthats a slaughter I actually get annoyed that they dont kill my characters faster when this happens which is every 4th or 5th dungeon once you get to 3rd level because its boring to just hit end turn over and over as my characters literally cant take any actions Boring and stupid ruining an otherwise really nice game        Could have been great

This game looks relatively good and is relatively fun to play but youre not purchasing a complete game With classspecific loot and only a few enemy times youd have to pay an additional 10 to have something worth playing        Buying a storefront

Ive never been more pleased with visuals or sound than with this title as it is one of the more polished experiences on iOS Put simply Warhammer Quest is stunning Ultimately however it feels as though players are subject to several gamebreaking flaws a couple of which I will explain The first its IAPladen to the point of being cost prohibitive An example of this would be having a 4person party that needs 45K of ingame currency for upgrades that you already have earned through dungeon crawling while consistently earning around 1K or less per mission It would cost 30 to purchase enough ingame currency for said warrior training with real money I have given an example of the first developer avarice The second terrible balancing These whims of fate manifest in several ways to include a the spawning of wave upon wave of the same enemies which causes your magic wielder to go without the power to perform his largely ineffective healing spells for a turn b the senseless and random hazard encounters that harm your party members between battles and dungeons and c the constant swinging and missing which ostensibly represents the odds consistently 1020 percent in my case even with Level 7 dungeoneers one would see with actual dice rolls while playing the board game upon which this title is based At well over 40 hours in I cant wait for the journey to end I wonder if I wouldve lasted this long were it not for the money I spent on additional characters and content You see I have been seeking a return on the initial investment the whole time I would implore you prospective buyer to beware the exorbitant cost of attempting to enjoy what really is a deeply flawed title I consistently fight the urge to delete Warhammer Quest and suspect that many of you would as well EDIT Added four stars to my initial onestar review Recently finished a new 55hour campaign with just the base characters plus the witch hunter and found that there was plenty of gold and XP to go around My mistake was to take too many different characters into the dungeons too soon which meant that the gold and XP ran short before core members were sufficiently leveled to take on harder quests Learn from this reader Resist the temptation to level all of your party members or you may lose upwards of 40 hours before hitting the inevitable paywall such a choice invites By the way a 2xGold weapon goes a long way toward getting your party maxed out                 6 Plus iOS 83

Ive been playing this game for almost two years now Still my favorite the dungeons and quests are random which makes replay ability so much better One thing though Wish I could have a proper burial for my heroes Instead of just abandoning their corpses with haste in the dank disrespectful dungeon floor                 Excellent Game

Good Gameplay music inventory system quests Bad Starting area too small too expensive for extra characters limited replay value I rarely play games on iPad Theyre not THAT much fun and I have PC Yet one of the reasons I bought my iPad was to play this game as it was not available on other devices at the time The game itself is great for what you get with the initial purchase It follows the rules of the original game almost exactly I commend the designers for recognizing a good thing All too often when a tabletop game is ported to digital something gets lost in translation That is NOT the case here The bad part is that the starting area only gives you about 15 hours of gameplay After that you have to buy other areas to explore That would be alright except after that time the game becomes a little repetitive The extra characters you can buy are overpriced and after you buy them do you really want to grind through the same game again assuming you didnt buy them as your starting characters In summary a MUST own game for iPad iPhone too small to really enjoy this game Do not need the extra content to have fun              Great game for iPad

Its okay I like grid based srpgs The animations are a bit slow Really the main detractor are the unavoidable iap if you want to play through Characters other than the starting four cannot be found or purchased through in game grinding they can only be bought Should have made new characters findable or grindable Only the new areas should have needed to be purchased        Meh

make this multiplayer via interest so I can play with others We still have the outdated board war hammer quest but cant find the time to play Then I will definitely bump it to 5 stars              please

Warhammer Quest feels like youre playing a board game Beautifully designed and masterfully implemented It just works Graphics are top notch When you equip an item you can actually see your character sporting them Luck is a crucial part of the action You cant always count on your charaters or your enemies to land every blow Potions and other healing items have ranges so you cant rely on them to give you a constant healing effect Thus making the outcome unpredictable ehich is great Overall Warhammer Quest is awesome                 Addicting

PROS UI is manageable WSBSSTW and saves no cover CONS its not NWN choices dont affect direction of storyline itemswargear database is limited leaves little to strive for              take it or leave it

This is actually one of my favorite games on the iPad Ive bought all the expansions and quite a few characters Its your standard hero quest dungeon crawler All the expansions are great I even think all the paid characters are better than the free ones Though you can do with just the free ones without a doubt My main gripe is that Im on a an iPad 2 and with iOS7 it ran pretty well Only ever got some slowdown every 3 or so dungeons Now that I upgraded to iOS8terrible slowdown and complete crashes every dungeon and every other town Yeah even in towns where nothing happensjust turning the ipad sideways can create a crash              Best of the iPad Crashes a lot with ios8

I love tactical squad based war games so I was excited to see an adaptation of the classic board game It works really well Atmospheric music is very appropriate and unlike most games I leave on Ive logged over 20 hrs on this title and still come back for an excursion Like to see more expansions Ive bought most My fav iaps are the enemytile packs but the other heroes also bring new play styles This is the kind of game I bought my iPad for                 Excellent squad based tactics

I loved the Warhammer Quest board game from Games Workshop I felt it was a real team effort to complete each dungeon With the limitation that this iPhone version isnt multiplayer this version rocks even better than the original I have no time to deal with meeting a new play group This makes up for that and allows me to get my fix at any time This is also good for newbies who are not familiar with Games Workshop games No prior experience needed Just start on easy so you dont lose your characters Well worth the money I even bought most of the other expansions and characters Dont buy the items unless its for the flavor text they are not that great                 Just like the real thing but with MORE
