I love road trips and the concept of this app I was able to use it for a while with no issues It was clunky but it worked Suddenly none of the weather will load Everything keeps spinning It will list the cities on the route but you have to manually enter the cities into a different weather app in order to see what your trip weather will ultimately be like Too bad It WAS a good app not anymore             Used to work not so much anymore Seattleace99

I was excited about it after my test run a week early Now I m driving tomorrow and the first pin won t drag anywhere even though I have credits I tried closing and reopening the app 3x Oh well Suggestion for the app makers from the first time it worked add the state where it lists the city weather It d be super helpful for the long trips since they aren t all familiar main cities         Only worked once beth3192

The idea is great but the implementation is terrible Rearranging a route after an inadvertent pin drop or after an unsatisfactory route is displayed is cludgy and the ability to edit speeds is nonexistent I will keep looking         ALMOST a good app Tailgunner55

Exactly what I was looking for but better I ll gladly pay the 2 99 or whatever it costs for unlimited usage It s a great app beautifully implemented once you realize you can add extra waypoints along the way to correct the path to the one you intend to take I skipped the tutorial and it probably explains that I ll have to look at the tutorial when I get home from my trip                     Love it PastorJohn

Use this to know what the weather is going to be when you are on the road and not as a map app and you will love it I was driving from DC to Boston and could see what the weather was going to be at my expected time of arrival along the way Love it                     Terrific app but RpBala

It would be ok if the map actually gave the same directions as google maps or Apple maps but it came up with something totally off the wall so had to manipulate it to make it match our drive Then you can only see the forecast for the next two days I am trying to plan a trip 5 days out Lastly you get a few free credits and each trip cost a credit So the app is free but you will have to buy credits to keep using it     Don t waste your time CoryLynnU

You cannot use your current location as a starting point So I used Boston as a start and Miami as end point It computes route when I hit Done and crashes I cannot get anything useful from the app as it stands Also you get 15 credits routes at first no idea what a credit costs or how to buy more Don t waste your time now     Crashes FastWalkerInMA

I m using iOS 8 and the iPhone 6 I tried 2x with s route Watertown NY to Charlotte NC and while the route was good I never could get weather Just kept seeing the spinning circles The app is free and starts you off with 15 credits Seems each route is a credit and possibly other features require credits but I never got that far     Doesn t work DennisM99

It is very good and helpful specially for me I use it every time I go on a motorcycle ride Nothing mayor but it would help if we were able to get the mileage from point to point but over all I m happy with it                     Helpful Ilgllen

I love this app for planning family trips We use it most for motorcycle trips where rain ice or heat can be a hazard I love the ability to pause the trip for lunch pit stops and other eventualities The time estimates are very accurate and the weather forecasts have been well within acceptable limits                     Safety Scriches

This is a great little app ideal for the sort of trip I m taking this week along a US interstate highway that runs through varying elevations 2 fronts 36 hours apart are expected to bring a mix of rain freezing rain sleet and snow The times and mix vary all along the route partially influenced by changes in highway elevation This app shows the forecast at waypoints 25 50 miles apart all along the way You can vary start times and put in breaks all along the route to see the best times to travel You can also tap on the speed limit icon in the map view to vary your speed Tilt your phone sideways and you get temperature and precipitation graphs plotted together above the times and location as the horizontal axis Vary the start times to see how all that changes by the hours It looks like you can forecast using start times up to 48 hours in the future Try different routes to see which dryer or less icy I had a question about the app the developer got back to me in a few hours Caveats and tips 1 I had some difficulty figuring the app out at first Solution when you first get it tap the little info icon i with a circle around it at the top of the screen Watch the first 2 minutes of the 3 minute video Very easy to use after that 2 There s a negative review from a US motorcyclist who got soaked by unforecast thunderstorms This app does not pass probabilities just the weather service s most likely outcome Great for most weather but tricky for the isolated popup thunderstorms of American summers 3 The icons for winter weather weren t totally clear sleet and freezing rain are denoted by a cloud showing both snow and rain It would be useful to have separate icons for these but if you use the horizontal graph mode see above it s color coded to show freezing temperatures 4 Like all weather apps it s only as accurate as the weather service that feeds it A close comparison with US National Weather Service forecasts over a 48 hour period and a 500 mile route looks almost identical maybe the use NWS for the US I m a weather app junkie and I ve probably used 10 15 over time This is the only one that reliably does this sort of thing at least for the US                     Great app worth the but read these tips A._B.
