This is my first bad review but I feel strongly that this oven is still in need of beta testing which unfortunately I m paying for The app requires a syncing of your phone to the oven in order for the oven to work No problem Um except it will not sync I ve worked with their support person who is in fact quite good I ve tried different phones I ve tried everything I was able to try their meals by heating it in a regular oven and I admit they were well done But the oven doesn t sync And no one can tell me why They acknowledge they have a problem but they don t even understand it So if you want to pay 12 a meal spend 4 5 hours troubleshooting their hardware issues feel free I m sending mine back     Not ready for prime time Tired of this broken gadget

All of the Tovala meals have been amazing The oven itself has had some issues like making some popping sounds is the inside metal Also the oven expands while cooking so hard to get trays and racks out I ended up contacting support and they re resolving my issues The food has been spot on and so easy to prepare Portions are also excellent which I was worried about Would like to see more updates to the APP with more pre sets for less experimenting Overall I would highly recommend the oven and the food service                     Awesome food oven has some quirks TOCDCO

My Mom only has an iPad which requires her to use the iPhone app in portrait mode Not very elegant             Needs native iPad support minpinmax
