Yoot Tower

Was one of the greatest games for Windows 95 Now one of the greatest games for the iPad There is some nitpicking that can be done but it shouldnt detract from 5 stars If you loved the original then youll love this one                 Timeless

A faithful recreation of SimTower and thoughtfully ported to the iPad As mentioned elsewhere there are a few language mistakes but nothing significant enough to detract from gameplay The only bug Ive encountered so far is the inability build parking spaces Ive tried various configurations to get spaces and I dont see a way to get them the ramps build just fine              Honest reproduction of SimTower

This was first app I bought for iPad Loved SimTower growing up this brings back hours of fun The Bad News Its an early alpha build Sadly it is riddled full of significant bugs For example when you progress about an hour into the game you get a new star you get to create singleroom hotel rooms Cool but Every morning the rooms need housekeeping to clean them Unfortunately a persistent menu bug allows only one housekeeping location This bug dramatically effects game play considering you cant grow your hotel beyond just a few rooms This problem happens to many different menu items parking spots security etc Other problems include certain screens are obviously made for a much smaller iPhone screen Also not to mention frequently game freezes Ive emailed support via the developer app support page only to never hear back If youve never played SimTower before these problems break the game The whole point is to progress through the stars which you currently cant do because your growth is severely limited because of the menu bug Hopefully they will update past 11 soon I love the game idea but its just not ready to sell especially not for 5 plus Im going to try to get my money back from Apple     Weak Foundation Dont Buy

NOTE The parking decks housekeeping and security work differently than the original version You only build one and you drag them horizontally to expand I have loved SimTower ever since I bought it in the mid90s Its one of those games you can play for a while get sick of it and then play again for years That said I agree with the other reviewers of the game when they state they miss the sound effects The office phone ringing and the woman saying Whacha doin To me anyway The music playing from the movie theater Etc I also wish time moved faster Even slid all the way to Fast it crawls at times SimTower on Win95 had midnight to 7 or 8 am take a few seconds here it takes 15 I would also like the clock to toggle between slow fast and pause instead of just pause and unpause Otherwise I enjoy it                 Good but could use some Improvements

This game is fine and all but the diversity of the rooms could have been increased by combing the art of SimTower and Yoot Tower instead of solely SimTower Even if Saito added only the offices and Tokyo condos it would have been a step up I kinda hoped to see a return of the studio apartments as well The way certain rooms can be stretched and upgraded is interesting but forces hotels to be in one area I also miss the checkin desks              Wish for more features

But it hasnt been updated since 2011 please just do a small patch to add the parking space and fix a couple of bugs not asking for much                 Great start

I used to be addicted to SimTower and I have missed it But now I am addicted all over again Despite the name change this is the original SimTower ported to the iPad and it is wonderful The UI is pretty sucky but I dont care about that at all It works and wonderfully so If you ever used to be addicted to SimTower like I was you will find it to be worth the price Now if they would only release The Tower II                 Im Addicted All Over Again

I love this app but I would like one to be able to enter cheats two make it so the saves dont get messed up                 Good but

This is a great partial port of Simtower not Yoot Tower Because you cant place parking spot you cant ever get past 3 stars in the game which means you cant progress to the later building items Thats a killer bug Please fix     Fun game but incomplete

The game does not work on iOS 6 It crashes after launch and does not load games Has not been updated since 2011     Does not work on iOS 6

This game is a must for the iPad I had it growing up and wished for it to come to the iPad Im glad they finally did I it Yes this game isnt perfect but its far from boring I hope they fix the issues and bring us more new items              Awsome

This game is filled with bugs I am only able to build one housekeeping unit after that the icon disappears Same thing has happened to my parking lot icon disappeared after placing one unit How am I supposed to continue the game     This COULD have been perfect

Nostalgia was waved in my face and I gave away eight bucks Whoops The interface is terribly clunky and difficult to use The hintstips cant be turned off and have graphical issues There is no landscape mode support If I could go back I wouldnt have paid 99 cents for it Get the PC version Its probably freeware        Exploitation

Apple should start pulling apps that are not updated for more than two years Where are the parking spaces And why cant I build more security Incomplete app for 8 No parking spaces prevents you from getting a 4 star tower Do not buy until they update which is close to a year with no updates     Not complete

Great app Have been looking for simtower for iPad for forever and now have it Language is a bit strange at times and getting used to controls takes a little adjustment Only major issue I have found is that when I build my parking ramp and expand the floor there are no parking spaces even though the guide says there should be Hopefully thatll get fixed soon otherwise great game thats super addictive              Love this

Worth the money Still needs more Housekeeping having only one doesnt even cover two floors of hotel rooms With a 100 floor tower do you really expect to lock us into only 2 floors of hotel space Also need to rework the parking ramp issue I should be able to buy my own spaces and put them on basement levels 34 to leave room for commercial spaces on basement levels 12 The spaces only need to attached to a parking ramp or another parking space So far those are the only issues I have Still a great memory of the original game Keep up the good work and am looking forward to some updates              95 Happy

I was waiting for Sim Tower to come out and of course it never did So yesterday I searched Tower and found Yoot Tower This is the same as Sim Tower I have been playing nonstop I love this game Unlike Tiny Tower which can cost you a ton of money to play it This is a one time charge LOVE it Thank you                 OMG I just found this

Really fun to play its like having Sim Tower for the iPad With that said the developer really needs to work on the UI First thing that hits me is that it will only allow you play in portrait mode which is an orientation I never really use my iPad in Secondly expanding things is awkward It would also be nice if there were buttons and such for some of the other functions which are commonly used in the game such as deleting thing        Fun Game Awful UI

I was expecting this to be more like Yoot Tower but this is SimTower in all but name While the game does adapt well to touch controls there are a few areas that could be better Also the English translation could use a proofreader However one building tool seems to be missing the floor building tool I tried to find it but it wasnt there I wanted to make an area to pad the noise from the fast food and an office           Good old fun

Love this game since the 90s but time doesnt move when the app is closed This is impossible           Great game but

Fun game when it works This game will work perfectly for about a week before it will lock up requiring you to reinstall the game That is not insurmountable except that your saved towers will be corrupted as well This happened to me three times before I finally removed the game out of frustration        Glitch removes a lot of value

If there was one game I cherished growing up it was Sim Tower Ever since I got my iPad I would constantly check if there was an app similar and nothing ever came close until this rerelease I am generally happy with the similarities but what happened to the individual sound effects for the condos retail movie theatres party halls etc I can remember the best part was all these sounds and the hustle and bustle of my tower growing Right now its just the elevator cash and the garbage truck I would also say the UI and some language is a bit funky but its easy for me to look past There are quite a few crash errors but Im sure those can easily be fixed The 799 was completely worth it for anyone who had such a love for this game Its almost as capturing as the original and has a lot of potential to get there Thank you for this amazing nostalgia           Getting there

I loved this game as sim tower back in the day but this one doesnt work It will not allow me to build parking spaces at alleven if I drag the ramp as it says to do No matter how much I drag itall the way across the floor no spaces appear I dragged it down and made lots of ramps Never able to get parking to work Very depressing waste of time and money as the game cannot advance without them     Very angry

I enjoyed playing this game for PC when it was originally released and the current gameplay is quite similar Generally good and very playable There are a few bugs that really need to be addressed The message system is not totally legible at the bottom of the screen and its frustratingThe font and second line of text is not readable Landscape mode does not work Some message popups are not in English I had an issue where I made a service elevator on the initial wrong floor and the game would not let me dragextend the elevator down on floor with the housekeeping I had some trouble deleting the service elevator I restarted the app and then was able to delete the service elevator and then made a new one I lost some money in the process and was a little frustrated but not a total loss Just a bug It would be nice if you could zoom out even more to make navigation of the tower easier Otherwise everything seems to work ok Thank you and I hope you address the bugs and fix them              Great Game but a couple of bugs

Finally one of my favorite alltime games has been ported to the iPad Yes this was in fact called SimTower at one point but shortly after its debut in the late 80s it was renamed to Yoot Tower As an advocate of all simulator games I have to be honest with you this is one of those games that I was absolutely addicted to I could think of a few others as well such as SimFarm A Train and of course SimCity I am very glad to see this game back on the marketplace And yes it could use some new tweaks and some updates Im hoping that it still allows us to place subway stations underground and perhaps a new addition to the game could be to allow us to create monorails above ground Sure theres probably 10 or 20 or 30 other things that could be added to the game but more is not always better Keep it simple but make it worthy of our time So far I have not been disappointed              Finally

This game is much as I remember it on a PC way back when However as it was released under Yoot Tower which was the sequel I was hoping for some new variety Overall it is a fun sim game but still limiting It would be nice to be able to place multiple housekeeping stations on different floors and have a choice of restaurants and shops Basically it needs more variety but worth the 7 I was also hoping for the sky bridge capability I played to five stars but never saw it show up Overall a good buy           Old classic

This game is the sequel to SimTowerThe Tower Its pretty fantastic and one of the deepest sim experiences on the iPad Highly recommended                 I bought an iPad for this game

I wish you could bring some of the other games to the iPad But I love this game Thanks for brining it to the iPad                 Love it guys

A failed app not worth 8 when they reach high level lose all the load it will crash     Crash

I loved this game as a kid so I bought it immediately when I saw it The game is still just as great and the touch controls work very well for it If you like any of the freemium tower building or city building games do yourself a favor and pick this up No microtransactions no waiting for points to recharge just build a profitable tower Much richer experience and sim Would buy again To the people talking about parking it is in the game you just have to enlarge the parking deck I havent experienced the robber yet so I dont know about that                 Amazing game brought back to life on the touchscreen

If you werent a fan of the old Sim Tower game this isnt for you Dont expect modern gameplay or graphics this is a great port of the old game              Sim Tower

Great app with several improvements over old Sim Tower for Mac Main improvement is ability to horizontally relocate any item including elevators escalators condos etc Services such as security housekeeping recycle bin etc may also be horizontally expanded you get only one of each to meet increasing needs as Tower grows Parking can be expanded both vertically and horizontally Game requires thinking and planning if you expect to reach 100 floors Managing the transportation systems to keep residents happy is biggest challenge Try not to go broke in the process Hint have lots of hotel rooms and enough maids to keep them clean                 Yoot Tower

How do you interact with The Robber I cant capture him theres nothing in the onscreen directions to help with this Ive enlarged my security office no help at all Im very frustrated with this after spending 800 for a game that doesnt work like the older version there wasnt a robber then I understand games get updated to match the technology but what about tech support Im not going to recommend this game to anyone if this is how you manage your product Please respond     Robber Help Help

Would be amazing if a few things could be added or fixed Allow for play when machine is not onIE let game keep progressing even if iPad is not awake and on program Allow for bank loans to keep game progressing if tenants move out Allow for lease terms IE 5 years terms or 1 year terms so user can set lease terms on condo sales or office sales etc I love this game It is amazing and such a classic              Suggestions

This game was one of my favorites growing up and its still great Little tricky to get the hang of as far as expanding maid servicesparking spotsthe recycling center For the first edition of this game with no patches out yet I have to say I am very happy and cant way for more improvements                 Awesome

Yoot tower really is just sim tower with a different name it still holds all the same fun that I had had when I played it in elementary school The price seemed kind of steep but it was totally worth it                 It rocks

I bought this game and really was enjoying it I saved my game and closed out Now when I try to launch the saved game it just puts me back on the iPad home screen Very annoying DeveloperPLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS     Doesnt load

Really enjoying this game again after all these years It is however missing many components of the original such as the sky bridge schools vendors exterior billboard ads and the baseball field For the price Im hoping some work is done to refine the UI and hopefully restore the missing content The manual is also very hard to read So its really no surprise others did not pick up on the subtle changes made to the housecleaning parking and security services only one is allowed and you must drag the edge outward to increase capacity The wonderfully informative traffic heat maps are also nowhere to be found Still for a price you too can relive the glorious monotony of Yoots Tower           Decent Port of A Classic

Dont waste your money Not like the original So many glaring errors I stopped playing after getting to 2 stars Cant add additional housekeepers so I cant expand the hotel Cant zoom out to see the whole building area so annoying Fine if you want to show some coworkers for nostalgia but I cant imagine anyone completing this ported version What a ripoff        Poorly done

I grew up playing the Sim Tower series as a kid as soon as I saw this game in the App Store I bought it immediately There are a few current bugs but the game is well playable If you have not played the Sim Tower series before there are many guides online that will let you understand the concepts of the game better This game will always have a five star rating from me Please keep this game updated many die hard fans are counting on it                 Amazing
