I luv it so much because it tells u ur words per minute and i really stink at typing but this app is helpin me get better and better at it I luv it so much so i play it everyday                 Luv it

I like how it looks but a lot of things bother me 1 Landscape option would be nice I use both orientations so Id like to practice with both 2 Disable the top keyboard option I have absolutely no use for it and its annoying for me to see 3 LONGER SENTENCES I really hate having to press done after every 5 words Get rid of having to press done and just have a period please Or have nothing and just go on to the next phrase Its good practice though to keep track of your average and highest speed My average is mid 40s but my max is 78 I think thats misleading because the sentence was probably so short and easy It would also be great if you add different modes or lessons such as letters numbers punctuation focus misspelled words capitalization practice option to insert our own sentences Landscape is my biggest request please please add it someday I honestly dont care about autocorrect but other ppl would appreciate it as well           Decent

I like this app and it HAS increased my speed in single finger typing but not thumb typing since there is no horizontal mode As most people know thumb typing on an iPhone quickly is pretty difficult in vertical mode Also as has been mentioned autocorrect is not enabled in the app If you have become accustomed to using that feature this app will likely slow you down a bit When I emailed the company about the lack of a horizontal mode I received a reply within one day assuring me that this is a high priorty for their next release I give this app 3 stars for now but close to 4 Additional Edit Im dropping a star from the rating because there have been 2 updates since my review and still there is no landscape mode        Almost There

The main problem I find is that The Thumb doesnt feature Auto Correction which I normally use when typing on my iPhone or even a way to toggle it on and off Having to manually shift to enter apostrophes which I normally dont have to do is actually counterproductive to improving my iPhone typing speed and efficiency Many of the sample phrases also contain errors in spelling or grammar so glancing at the sample phrase and then typing it in as quickly as possible will sometimes score poorly because what I type correctly doesnt match the erroneous sample Also problematic one skipped or extra character will cause everything that follows to be marked as a mistake which then brings down the accuracy score The numbers for the accuracy scores and the animals for the ratings are confusing or nonsensical        Frustrating and Unlike Normal Typing

I got my iPod touch 3 some days ago and my typing speed is very slow And now the app made me become fast to type the words                 Though I am a chinese I really think this app is so fantastic

Ive had this app since the first release During that time the app was at a fee which I was happy to pay However now with the new update it seems to have ads and also lacks the update of a landscape mode I ASKED THE DEVELOPERS TO KINDLY PLEASE UPDATE WITH THE RESTORATION OF MY ADFREE EXPERIENCE AND INCLUDE LANDSCAPE CAPABILITIES Once these changes have been correctedthen and only thencan I honestly recommend this app so for now I have to rate it a three stars and give it CNETs BAD APPLE           I Really Like ItBBUUTT

Its a nice and helpful for word typing of iPhone environment And good user interface                 Nice and helpful app

I type mostly in portrait mode so this app is extremely useful in improving my technique Once I started using this I found myself naturally shifting my hand position to use both thumbs interleaving my fingers My main suggestions would be to add a tutorial on how to hold the phone for fastest typing and use longer sentences removing the keyboard at the top              Great for practice and pretty fun

This app looks great but the numbers and calculation it uses to figure your WPM are all wrong It shows me at almost 3 times as fast as I acutally type on a keyboard Also I typed really fast but all wrong and it shows my WPM around 15 When I type as I normally do with few or no errors my WPM jumps to almost 200 Also I noticed a few typos in the sentences it asks you to type This could be a great little app if they can fix the WPM calculation        Beautiful app but what do the numbers mean

Often if you skip one letter or type one extra you can type everything that follows perfectly and itll show everything as wrong Needs ability to compensate for this otherwise you lose lots of time trying to get back in sync actual typing stats are inaccurate Also the phrases have many typos and grammatical errors which mislead when one is trying to type fast Again stats end up reflecting factors other than typing speed           Frustrating

I wish there was a way to rate an app as zero stars Not only are their ads in an app I paid for but the program is practically useless I liked the idea of a blind keyboard and thats why I bought it But the huge downside is who types anything in portrait mode If Im typing anything longer than a few words I use landscape which isnt even a feature Worst app Ive ever bought     Waste of Money

The Thumb is great at what it does I disagree with the reviewer who said it is too difficult to type with your thumbs with the phone in portrait vertical orientation I rarely use the keyboard in landscape and always use both thumbs to type I have large manly hands yet average 50 words per minute as confirmed with this great app My fastest is 63 words per minute I agree with the reviewer who commented that it would be wonderful to be able to toggle on or off the iPhones native autocorrection To get a true indication of how quickly we can type on the iPhone keyboard we should be able to lean on the autocorrection as we can everywhere else Not having it however has improved my accuracy as far as hitting the exactly correct key when almost the exact key is fine with autocorrection everywhere else For the reviewer struggling to toggle back and forth to add punctuation a tip is to tap and hold on the iPhones 123 key then drag to the punctuation needed I commonly do this for periods commas apostrophes exclamation marks and question marks You quickly learn where to drag for each punctuation mark When you drag to the punctuation mark you want and release the iPhone quickly and automatically adds the punctuation mark and takes you back to the text keyboard turning three key strokes tapping 123 then tapping the desired punctuation mark then tapping ABC to return to the keyboard into one keystroke tapping and holding 123 then dragging to the desired punctuation mark and releasing Hopefully this tip will help speed up your typing All in all its a great app I wish there were longer passages but all in all I am very pleased with this elegant polished app                 Excellent App Works as advertised
