I had a chance to go through this app and I have to say it is the worst ever for Japanese Most of the major phrases are grammatically wrong so much so that if you were to say those phrases to a native speaker they would laugh at you I would not advise using this app for conversational nihongo Worst
Will you guys be updating your apps any time soon I like this app Can u come out with one for Chinese and korean Also if you can have a section for the alphabets this can help out begginers greatly Cool
I downloaded this application because of its audio capabilities however the software designer does not make it clear that you will first have to download podcasts to use this function While this is not a big deal on the other versions the Japanese verison does not have the podcasts linked to by the designers grosslyoutofdate website or instruction manual Ive searched itunes a multitude of ways and have not yet found the audio Tech support is available by email only with a 48 hour turn around Sorely Disappointed
Its ok if you know hiragana but the romaji is not correct at all sometimes the particles are in strange places and double letter words are all mixed up The english translations are somewhat correct but are not as good as they can be the voice option is cool though the only thing this app needs is correct romaji and translations In otherwords I think the dev should try learning japanese before making a japanese application Not that great

I really like this The only problem is I wish there was a way to slow down or rewind so u can really understand the language and what u are hearing Other than that great and make one for Swahili Kewl

This app is very easy to use displaying traditional Japanese Kanji Katakana and Hiragana as well as Romaji it also features audio files of native speakers properly pronouncing words I do think the app fails to distinguish between ultra formal foramal and casual phrases some phrases are not appropriate in all sitautions but for 99 cents its still a great deal Amazing app easy to use
this app rocks The only experience I have had is watching vampire knight and I got this and emiserlu started learning I hear rosseta stone actually got bad reviews so forget that and get this I still wish I could have a human but I still love it Love it

In my quest to learn Japanese Which I doubt I will ever complete I have purchased so many books and easy programs and apps for the computer and iPhone I have lost count of the exact number And I have never come across a bargain like this Basic phrase no complicated instructions AND native speakers One dollar A value at 5 times the price Outstanding app makers youve gained a new fan I want to buy another app you guys made just because I feel like I ripped you off with this one Great job Outstanding
