I ve tried multiple voice apps for our patients receiving voice therapy They were either free or low cost but none of them provided what we needed For our patients with monotone or low volume this app allows recording with playback and good statistics which are very useful for baseline documentation and later comparison as therapy progresses The price is higher than the typical apps but well worth it compared to other systems out there I highly recommend this program Great for Speech Therapy DLLSLP
I ve been looking for something that I can use to monitor my voice while doing my speech therapy homework I haven t really found much online other than programs such as Pratt which has a steep learning curve and doesn t give live feedback and another program called Sing and See which dose provide live feed back but doesn t provide the same level of functionality as the Sonneta Voice Monitor but Sing and See is targeted towards singers and not people undergoing speech therapy The Sonneta Voice Monitor gives me the ability to set my pitch range and to limit the decibels it which helps cut out background noise when taking sample recordings It also has the ability to analyze the recordings that you take and show the median pitch which is what you need to know for your target when you are trying to speak in the appropriate pitch range for your gender along with other pitch and decibel data related to the sample file This is just what I was looking for ChutesAndLadders
