Sonic The Hedgehog 4™ Episode I HD

Its a good game but what Ive noticed is that your basicly using old zones from past games Next time can you please make new and unique stages Also when is episode 3 coming out we need to know what happened to little planet ant the end of episode 2 This sounds like half life all over again              Good game but

The game itself is fun and has that classic 2D Sega Genesis Sonic I grew up with The game have two fatal flaws when compared to Sonic 1 on Genesis The Special stages have a time limit Not too much of Gripe if the controls are done right However I find that the awkward controls interfere while trying to make my way to the emeralds Overall 77 percent C           Good game but fatal flaws

This has the worst controls in the entire sonic franchise it glitches every 5 seconds and the worst part Is that there charging u for this horrible game this is worse than sonic 06 the game also likes having getting u stuck in walls in the end this game is horrible and it should get fixed IMMEDITLY     Horrible

Sega if you can add a retina update for the 1st episode Try to make it like sonic 4 episode 2              Needs retina update

I hate splash hill act 2 1 under water maze escape              Wired

The gameplay is ok and all but its not really like the genesis I mean its fine and all and so is episode 2 but u know halo is way better than any platforming game XP           Yeah well its fine

This game is worth downloading its cool BUT THE SUPER SONIC ANIMATIONS NO WAY if you look closely he looks not happy at all and his skin is darker than before I really feel sad when I look at him while in his super form PLEASE SEGA FIX THIS FIX THIS PLEASE AND THIS WILL BE THE BEST GAME EVER I AM A REALLY A BIG FAN OF SONIC                 Good game but there is something wrong

Yeah well anyway fungreat game but when I lock on I cant get past the first metal sonic level As soon as I go in the transporter chute thing the game crashes and Im taken back to my iPads home screen And when I go back to the game its back at the sega screen But I suppose that should be technically for Sonic 4 episode 2              The lock on

Running on Ipad 3 So I have to start and say the controls dont deserve a 1 star they are functional and work well for me and I usually play on gaming consoles And the game is fun the homing attack can be nice to play with for sure What doesnt work so well is the frame rate Its running at I think 30 or a little lower and man its not easy on the eyes since my face is pretty close to the IPad especially with the speed sonic runs Definitely would have benefited from 60fps If you can get by that the graphics are retina and look nice when still and the music is in stereo Bottom line if you need your sonic on the go then get this game Otherwise try one of the console or pc versions for sure           Oof this port My eyes Sonic

This is a fun game but when I got all seven chaos emeralds I transformed into super sonic but he didnt transform properly and he always had a surprised face He had a weird acceleration run cycle While flying at top speed he had his fingers spread open and he kept shaking to Sometimes he glitches out for half a second please fix this              Great game but super sonic is weird

It plays like the original Sonic game but with the design focused on Sonics ease of speeding through levels that were so characteristic of Sonic 2 In fact Id say even to the next degree That makes this game one of the best to play of all the side scrolling Sonic games Super fun FOR A CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM SEE BELOW I love the variety of ways that Sonic can go fast get thrown around and interact with the environment to the effect of going faster and getting thrown around more Obviously this game was very well through Though I gave it five stars I do have two major pieces of criticism I hope the developers take the time to read this One the thumb controls are a little hard to use Their sensing range is too small for my hands especially the jump button The tilting controls dont seem to work well either because you have to turn your head too if you want to see the screen upright it has the effect of something akin to eating a taco Also a little disappointed there are only four levels rather than the standard six If youre going to make a game this good why not go full out It also makes it disproportionate to the time it takes to complete the special stages which are the standard number and are quite challenging One more point of criticism the third battle against Robotnik I refuse to call him Eggman is disproportionately hard compared to the others A slight oversight                 By far one of the best Sonic games ever made

This is a great port of a fantastic classic game For a platform back then the Sega Genesis had cutting edge graphics and great gameplay Sega no longer needs to worry about manufacturing hardware just keep porting old titles and releasing new ones for tablets and other existing platforms Great job guys                 Classic

I love the gameplay Controls are amazingBosses are intense But special stages arent impressive I dont really enjoy the tilting in the special stages though And I always get frustrated when Im so close to getting a chaos emarald But other than that this game gets a good review              Not Impressed

Please add an option to use Genesis style physics The physics of this game feel so clunky The level design really feels like it should have had those physics        Please fix the physics

Its kind of fun but not the best sonic game ever The graphics are really cool and the remake of green hill zone is fabulous Destroying robots in this game is more fun than ever There are better games out there on the App Store with sonic in them but this one still is fun and a must have for most sonic fans All in all 3 stars           Fun but not the best

Sega this is an awesome game The only thing is that the frequent crashing is preventing me from beating the game Every time Im on the final boss and Im on the last part the one when u chase down eggman it always crashes And when I try to reload the game and it says if I would like to pickup from last star post I click yes and then it crashes midload Plz fix soon              Awesome game but

The game is great So when I saw Episode II available on the Itunes store I bought it Turns out Episode II doesnt work on Ipad Minis Ive already posted a review on Episode II about this And Episode I doesnt work on iPod Touches Sega make the same mistake they did with the Wii which is If you release Episode 1 on a certain platform you have to release Episode II on the same platform Otherwise it cheats the fans out of Episode Metal and it becomes such a hassle for the fans because they either miss out on half the game or have to rebuy the half they already own I would be fine if both episodes only worked on the iPad mini or only worked on the iPod Touch but one only working on one and the other only working the other is not acceptable Ever The game however is so good that it warrants a better rating that 1 Star Side Note It is a bit annoying to rest the cord of headphones plugged into the headphone jack in between your pinkie and ring finger but its relatively minor        Repeat of the Wii

Where to begin First the controls are worthless everything is done using a simulated joystick and jump button None of the bosses are original concepts they are all bosses from previous installments of the Sonic the Hedgehog series And the music is completely forgettable it doesnt even fit the scenario in certain situations Boss battles specifically Many times you are asked to make a quick maneuver that could be easily achieved with a joystick but difficult to perform using the partially responsive touchscreen emulated joystick Not worth the money I paid Would not recommend Certainly not one of Segas better works     Awful Game

It embodies the old times when sonic had to stand still a bit and expertly time jumps in order to survive crazy deathtraps The finesse required back in the day returns and with the homing attack the blue blur is easier to play than ever before Sonic has made a full on comeback to classic times and it rocked the world Good job Sega              Awesome
