Sea of Giants

We were in middle of playing version 112 and downloaded the 882014 version 12 it immediately crashes on iPad 2 and we cannot get it to run at all I play this with my granddaughter and she is going to be upset that it is now dead and we cannot finish I was told to try deleting the app and reloading it that worked as far as removing the hang the game now works but all previous game playing data was lost and we have to start all over As that is somewhat frustrating Im going to just delete the app altogether and go look for something else for entertainment        Aug 8 2014 Version Crashes Immediately

The puzzles were all very easy The only real challenge was navigation but with the builtin maphint system you can jump directly between scenes Usually in this genre you are just on your own with navigation and finding the scene you want is tedious and ends up taking much more time than playing the game I would say this game is good for a younger age group 812ish              Pretty fun

Really liked this it was different than most of these type games out there Played version 132 no glitches on ipad 3 Nice point and click style game very colorful clear graphics fun puzzles not frustrating has transporting map hints and skip feature if needed Reasonable price is appreciated Hope to see more from this devthanks                 Well done

I stumbled across this one purely by chance and decided to take a shot Wow I was definitely pleasantly surprised This is a stunning pointandclick adventure that evokes a sense of wonder often lacking in todays runofthemill adventure games I found it to be stunningly beautiful played on iPad strange in a good way and imaginative It also seemed very polished I had no glitches or crashes While the puzzlesminigames will be familiar in format to those who play a lot of adventure games they were quite varied and very well implemented It was an allaround excellent experience and I was quite surprised to learn from the credits that the game was basically created by one person except for the music I believe which was terrific by the way My only real critique was that the writing was a bit spotty at points However it was also quite poetic on occassion and didnt detract from the experience Although there was an overall story to the game there was very little in the way of narrative structure But again it seemed to work here I will warn those who are used to Big Fish or similar style adventures and Im not knocking them I play a ton there is no map no hint system no skip feature and no bonus chapter However there is a walkthrough available did not check it and you can play in casual mode which indicates areas of interest with sparkles when you enter a new screen What I thought was nice was that I could switch to this mode at one point when I was stuck and then switch back after I found what I was missing I also dont think this is the type of game where you will miss a map In fact I think interactiveteleporting maps tend to break immersion so in a way it may be a good thing Well I probably would have missed the map if there were loading screens or long pauses between scenes but thankfully there were none here Oh there are also no hidden object scenes but thats just a matter of taste I was happy for the change of pace here though Im not opposed to hidden object adventures either Overall major kudos to the designer for a job very well done I hope to see more soon Easily a fivestar game                 Wonderful Adventure

It didnt take me long to finish but it was fun then while time              Loved it

I have played many point and click adventure games This one stands out because the puzzlesmini games are logical hooray and the option to go directly to the scene you need without all the aimless wondering is available I get bogged down trying to find where I need to be in order to complete the next step Being able to go directly there made this one of the most enjoyable games in this genre Great job developers More please                 So enjoyable

This is a nice pointandclick exploration and puzzle game with lovely magical scenery Hints are provided if needed and there is a map you may also use if you want to travel quickly Some of the puzzles are ones you just have to work with to solve without finding any clues elsewhere in the game but most puzzles have a key somewhere and there is an automatic notebook that records this for you For me on my iPad mini I had a few crashes but was always able to resume play Nice autosave Also most of the puzzles made sense but at the beginning you have a knife in your possession but you cant use that to cut the vines you need to find the garden shears sigh but this is a small sin for such a pretty game so it is easily forgiven Several times I clicked on an object but nothing happened so I thought I was done with an area but beware you may have to go back and try clicking again very carefully in some areas Im not sure if that is a bug or not Another small annoyance a weird song scene you have to listen to all the way through Its not a horrible song but seemed out of place and unnecessary and kind of boring but thats just my taste I had about 8 hours of relaxing game play and would buy another game from this developer any time              Lovely and a bit unusual in a nice way
