I really want this app to work for me for website prototyping but there just seem to be a lot of basic features missing such as being able to mask images or having things align to the center of the document or to the centers of surrounding shapes             Has potential shmcknig

This app has benefited every aspect of my creative process The only issues I ever had with it were due to the fact that I was running it on a now no longer supported iPad mini I m using a newer model and rarely have issues with it only as exporting Even with those minuscule export issues I m unaware of any other app that exports designs as svg s so flawlessly From quick and dirty last second edits to building the elements of my new website in Protosketch is a phenomenal Swiss Army knife I have all but given up looking for a replacement I m operating under the assumption any bugs proto has is due to the sheer scope of their roadmap and goals as an available on all platforms design suite The only notes I have are a feature request which is as follows Importing from cloud services like google drive is a bit frustrating and any focus put to improving it would only be a boon to my workflow                     Ignore the haterz pravacouture

I really want to like this app It seems like it could be useful for illustrating However the shapes library doesn t work properly Tapping or dragging a shape out puts a totally different shape on the canvas than the one I m trying to put down Not even one nearby the shape I want in the library Also the app crashes way too often I ll wait and try this app after a few more updates         Too many bugs kylekane

One of the best featured well thought out vector drawing and design tool However buggy Close gap on pencil tool disable does not work Hitting undo button too quickly crashes app every time At least the designers seem to have put in robust autosave and recovery algorithms so it s just a frustration Brush tool leaves gap artifacts on tight loops and bends This alone is almost a deal breaker since there is much work into finding workarounds It appears that at these points the line width is forgotten on one line when two thick lines come in contact on tight loops It will leave an open space artifact at the center of the tight curve Developer needs to speed up the code because as you add objects and layers program becomes sluggish And this is only what I found having purchased and started playing with the app for only 10 minutes All that said I m sticking with it and investing my time and energy and money because it appears the developer is committed to making this the best iOS vector software on the market and is publishing quick releases with new features and fixes 5 stars when some of these bugs are stomped Developer needs to do better debug before release IOS 9 2 X on iPad Pro 128 Gig             Beautiful and buggy WildBillWillie

This app works fine if you have like 3 shapes and 3 layers But once you add any meaningful amount of content it s unusably slow And I m not even talking about a gargantuan project just a modestly sized one For example you pinch to zoom and then you re staring at the screen for 20 seconds while it gets to your zoom level And this is on the iPad Pro the fastest iPad ever made I waited to make this review because maybe they would release an update to fix the slowness but it s been over half a year without an update Since their last update there have been several new iPad models in the market including 2 new iPad Pro s I wouldn t use this for any serious project and don t see where all the hype is coming from     Unusable gets real slow real fast larryw09

Forget about professional or desktop level of vector editing the app is basic at best The best thing about it is icon design of the app looks good on home screen I bought the app after reading reviews and praise it s getting However after using it for few hours I ended up in buyer s remorse The app has only basic vector functionality You can create some basic objects edit them a pen too for freehand shapes Some options for stroke and fill basic layers module some blend modes And that s it Forget doing any kind of professional work in the app There are much better apps in AppStore and I regret for not doing some homework before buying this which is my mistake anyway Writing this review so you won t make the same mistake         Don t fall for reviews NajamQ

To the Protosketch developers You are on your way to greatness and there are only a few missing things holding you back ability to organize documents in folders ability to change opacity with and buttons icloud sync this a major setback and place text on paths its kind of hard to use I think the UI is wonderful and the controls are easy to use and manipulate I also love the added icons and pictograms Based off what the app is able to do now I think updates will only improve it A proud user                 Great but missing a few things _Music-Lover_

Wonderful app lover the various pictograms and the drawing tools are great However on my iPad Pro 9 7 the app bogs down and gets very slow and glitchy Hope they update because I would LOVE to be able to give it 5 stars and use it more smoothly Also iCloud synch would be an excellent feature         Great app but JHilkert

To me ProtoSketch is without a doubt the best vector artwork application that I have used thus far It feels so professional but at the same time I found it really easy to jump right into and learn all of the basics very quickly I was really happy too that it had a nice user manual to learn from located in the app itself And it allowed me to create real high definition canvases for my projects as well Plus just aesthetically I really like and appreciate how everything looks in the app and how seamlessly everything seems to flow and how easy it is to work on my projects And even better than all of that to me is that I had some questions about ProtoSketch and contacted the developer And he got back to me pretty quickly was very friendly and went out of his way to help me with a request that I had Which well that meant a lot to me because not all developers will go that extra step to help a customer Heck many times I email app developers for support and they do not ever even respond at all let alone be as helpful friendly and extra accommodating as I thought that this developer was So many thanks to the developer for not only creating and offering such a feature filled and competent application in my opinion But definitely also for as I said putting in that extra attention and thought in helping me out when I had an issue and some questions I would highly recommend buying this app for your vector art needs or wants and you can always test it out first with the Lite version the developer offers Thanks again for all of that and God bless iPad Air 2 iOS 10 2 1                     The Best Vector App I ve Used Joshua D.

I ve been using this for a couple months It s a great app all around My only gripe is that there is no option for iCloud syncing I don t always have my iPad with me and sometimes I need to make an adjustment but because there s no iCloud syncing I can t use my iPhone to access my documents Other than that pretty awesome app                 Almost there Villalobos.Jesus

The competition e g Graphic iDesign still has some capabilities that this app lacks But ProtoSketch has a significantly better User Interface more pleasant productive and intuitive That counts for a lot with me This app is being updated and improved at a brisk pace while their competition languishes It already has advanced features the others lack e g some forms of snapping Right now this is a 3 4 star app based on features but it s a 5 star app based on the rapid pace of improvements My compliments to the talented developers                     Good Getting Better Rapidly I like to calculate

I was suckered in by all the glowing reviews but this is very far from a desktop design app like Ai The UI is one of the better touch interfaces I ve tried but the app is lacking or hiding fundamental tools No swatch libraries or color picker No way to see sort the artwork that s on a layer No clipping masks for art already on the artboard A lot of love went into this app clearly I hope the dev stays with it but for now it s just another 3 minute curiosity not a tool I ll be using in place of desktop counterparts         Not a desktop grade app thinayr

I ve tested several iPad vector drawing apps This one has some nice features and a clean interface However it is very buggy Hopefully the 9 99 they charge is going to better the development of this app especially with all the other competitors out there who have it nailed down 1 Pencil tool line breaks as your drawing 2 Strokes are not very smooth no matter the speed you draw them 3 Its hard to adjust bezier points 4 Need faster access to adjust sizing of the stroke too many clicks Thats what Ive found so far in the first hour of use             Has potential but needs work Kr8ve1
