INTRODUCTORY PRICE Are you running away from your tasks? Procraster is not a to-do app. You have OmniFocus, Things, Clear, Wunderlist etc. for that. Procraster helps you overcome blocks to action and get started ...
For me it was to complicated it s choppy don t flow welll     To Complicated Preciouskeke
This app looks fantastic I can t wait to really use it My only complaint is that it has a bug with voiceover Everything is labeled perfectly but sometimes when I use the app with voiceover it freezes A page that was previously read by voiceover suddenly has no way of navigating For example when I tried adding a task to a project I could see that the task screen came up with the option to add tags and such but VoiceOver would not read anything I turn voiceover off and was able to move freely through the app but when I turn voiceover back on it still would not read anything in the app until I closed it and reopened it If this problem could be fixed this app would get five stars for me                 Nice Just One Thing PickyJJ
I ve tried many apps to handle procrastination and this is the only one I wanna comment It s making people s lives easier by psychologically snooping into a procrastinators mind and give various data charts tags and options of action to battle it Although I do think the developers are undoubtedly trying to make the app better the creation of a task could be simpler so people wouldn t find it time consuming to manually set up a task Also there could be more reasons to procrastinate This app is not a subscription totally worth the one time payment Bravo                 Great app generally WalterXavs
Don t procrastinate putting it to use It will help Make your vision plain and clear Then watch it come to fruition Remember me when this app has helped you to become great Thanks                     Awesome but Kareembyear1year
Can help to get things done                     Good app Onijownz
It is okay It just is stupid If you set dates for everything and have a super busy schedule and still need to do some stuff However if you only have one dated thing like say I have a budget I do at the end of the month well that one comes first Because it has a due date It really doesn t help procrastination to have a app that makes you procrastinate more just trying to make it work I don t find the advice very helpful Really I don t want to have to make a project out of needing all my dishes done and feeling like it s too big of a task Honestly if it could be less stupid I could get behind it But your algorithm is for children             Eh Kidred kidd
It s just a complicated interface for a timer and recorded stats All the suggestions and divided inboxes do the same Not so helpful I m disappointed         Meh HZMDJ
This App has really helped me to prioritize my projects into simple tasks and get things done Thank you                     The Best Hgbutstegjk
I love using this app for both work and keeping in shape Work for 25 minutes then walk for 5 while reading my phone It s done wonders for my work performance and for my activity levels                     Excellent app for getting things done LolliDino
This is a great app and definitely 5 star worthy I have researched and tested almost every to do list and productivity app out there This one is stellar I look forward to their continued success and hope they focus on integrations with other apps such as reminders and omnifocus Thank you to the developers                     Great 5 star app can t wait for more integration options Megarama1
So far this app does nothing but glitch I can t even figure out how to add a task     Horrible GG12 ckcs
Really love this app It works especially when I m feeling overwhelmed It ties in with the getting things done things that would help too But I use it mostly for when I m stuck                     Love it Junglejimbostonjungle
I use it every day                     Clean interface Avivagold
It is a wonderful app that is very helpful but it is nearly unusable because of the autocorrect             Would be wonderful without autocorrect amongcolleens
Overall amazing I have noticed some delays while typing tasks in                 Thanks SwyperV
I like the idea of the app but it constantly stops responding which makes very frustrating to use     Slow and unresponsive Riley76
Got this app recently Still trying to figure out its many features I am very happy with it so far I use it every day since download Thanks for making it free A start off tutorial accessible within the app would be helpful                     Works well for me KKM*
It s not actually helpful                 4 stars DJekaL
This has a good balance between features and simplicity For me the app is intuitive and in addition it has some eye candy appeal                     Simple does what it says OinkyJates
Loved it before the update that made the auto correct incredibly frustrating Just tried to type food It was impossible because it was changed to good Can t type names The autocorrect is aggressive in it s wrongness Also wrote a previous long kinder review but was only told after I was done that my nickname was taken Poor programming and unnecessary frustration for the user Beginning to wonder if this app is secretly an experiment in his people handle frustration Will this review be thrown out too Let s hope not                 Good with major annoyance Xzxdsfx
Except for a few minor things The app is not always intuitive and has a few little bugs but overall it is excellent and well worth the price of admission to anyone who wants something between a to do list a timer and an activity tracker Even just the anti procrastination prompts are very helpful I would love to give it five stars but this way there s room to improve Unifying to UI would be a great start as would reducing the number of taps required for some actions e g Tagging                 Truly excellent St.John McCloskey
I ve used this app to help me study It d be helpful if it had options to schedule time like pomodoros and had sublists to tasks Still it s a fantastic app                 Great app love its many features Slicey1984
Makes studying and organizing projects and assignments much easier Wish it had a component that blocked use of certain apps during the study time and unblocked during break time Other than that this has been so helpful                 Awesome MoHo95
Great little app to maintain focus and keep track of tasks However it freezes often following completion of a timer and you have to close the app to reset it Also the reports leave a lot to be desired I m trying this app along with a couple others so the jury is still out on whether it will become a permanent fixture on my iPad             Great app but has issues 4-Hkid
Had over 3 app for managing tasks Now I m down only to Procraster The stopwatch is incredible logs activity in your calendar Since now I predict how much time an activity took vs actual time spent                     Awesome DON_FELE
First this app is totally brilliant Specific strengths include a the timer with calendar integration b the differentiation between start due dates c repeat after completion vs repeat regularly option d stats beautiful e affordability and f the motivational home screen which I don t really use but I appreciate it s value nonetheless Second the 4 things that would make this app absolutely indispensable in order of importance would be Computer access sync Whether it was available as a menu bar app preferably with the timer stopwatch time in the menu bar a web app or desktop app being able to use this app on the computer would be an amazing addition that would improve my workflow Syncing timers across devices At present the timer only runs on the device where you start running it Though of course it syncs the completed time across devices it would be amazingly helpful if you could start the clock on one device and turn it off on any other device Regular prompts when timer is running It would be wonderfully helpful if there was some sort of regular reminder to remind you that a timer is running whether just a reminder notification your timer has been running for 30 minutes or a prompt with options your timer has been running for 30 minutes are you still working on task e g Harvest or a menu bar icon Mac or Notification Center widget iOS Mac that would show the running timer Not adding new events for recurring tasks e g Nozbe Sometimes the app gets cluttered if I haven t done some of my recurring tasks in a while Preferably only one copy event would ever show at a given time                 Brilliant with potential NataliePhD
The developer successfully combined the GTD method and Pomodoro into a useful system of productivity You are greeted with a elegant interface to enter your tasks There s a timer section which is really a Pomodoro timer While it doesn t fully follow the Pomodoro method every 4 Pomodoros you get a 15 minute break It is easy enough to change The task section looks very similar to a standard GTD setup You have an inbox next action section projects and someday folders If you are familiar with GTD you can hit the ground running with the app Even if you don t the app has a wonderful and thorough help section So what is the cons Well it is only an iOS app So if you don t own an iPad it is really annoying to enter all your tasking on an iPhone Maybe this would be easier if I got an iPhone 6s Plus But I would hope that the developer makes a web app to easily enter task when you don t have your phone Overall the app is wonderful It may be missing some items like sub list but if task requires sub task it might need to go into the project folder                     A tool to get things done RobRawks
I love the timer app and that it adds sessions to your calendar But there are too many times where it needed to be reset For example even though I ve completed all my tasks the icon still shows up with the number 3 indicating that I still have 3 tasks due Your calendar won t be updated unless you remember to go into the task and set the start time I submitted a report in about a month ago and heard nothing back Good idea poorly executed and rarely updated         Used for months not intuitive and buggy Dainpetersen
I m so much more focused with this app I begin to wander into old habits and suddenly a task pops up Whoa Better get this done I think Then I m back on track Thanks to you all the Procraster team                     Great motivator Mille1945
I am a huge procrastinator and it was really affecting and still does my personal and professional life so I splurged and got this app It really helps to imagine the smallest step and just focus on it until it s done Plus it helps keep you organized and not burnt out I haven t put a ton of projects or tasks into it so I can t speak for it slowing down but so far it works really well for me                     It helps Carmelatta
I love this app I m full time employed a father of 3 a husband a full time university student and a participant in a Code Camp Needless to say I m a busy individual This app has been amazing in helping me prioritize my tasks and projects My production has increased and it seems I have more time for family There are something s I d like to see Better explanation on Projects tasks schedule and things like that I m still learning the app so I ve spent some time fixing misplaced tasks and such If you don t properly place your tasks projects you basically need to redo it in a different section It would be cool if you could split tasks into different time slots also Example I have two chapters to read in the next two days Instead of saying starts at this date and time and ends at this date and time it d be awesome if I could take that task and put it into multiple time frames without needing to input the task multiple times Maybe a copy feature for tasks It s small things like that which could be added and make this a 6 Star application As it is now for 1 99 this application is a steal and a must have                 Great Could Be Extraordinary JDieter12
I just installed this on my IPAD for the 4th time and it freezes immediately Spent an hour trying to get it to work Tried to let developers know but can t get to the website     APP does not work Inner game 1
I ve used it for a few hours This is perfect for moving into action I m using another app for long term goals and deadlines This one seems great for breaking down tasks on a project that seems too unwieldy to handle                     Great Cognitive Awareness Tool garzangelica
I use Procraster daily I like the stats It is helpful                 I like it Ryan Putman
I like the concept but it lacks features I need The app asks you which situation applies to the task you re procrastinating on Unfortunately it lacks my two issues when it comes to getting stuff done I don t feel like doing it right now I ll do it in a couple hours And Working on this task makes me anxious                 Nice concept but not for use David.88
I like this app okay but it s not flexible enough Under projects there is the list of projects then a checklist of actions under each project but sometimes those actions themselves have steps The project action checklists need another layer of sublists in other words This thing is supposed to help me get stuff accomplished right If you re doing research and writing for example there are multiple steps within each step Would really like the option to spell that out for myself I have memory problems and need an app that can do that but so far haven t found one         Needs sublists ProfessorEliz
I like it so far using it for two days now My main gripe is the text prediction feature is totally wack predicts wrong words constantly Only app that has this issue not sure why it s not just using normal predictive text like every other app I use                 Good but needs a fix Breither
I got this app to implement the getting things done system I loved the interface at first the GUI was nice and it seemed reasonably well designed But after I spent the weekend putting in 200 items the app slowed to a crawl I ended up switching to Things which took me another ENTIRE weekend I like Things much better           Slow slow slow There are better GTD apps
I just installed this on my IPAD for the 4th time and it freezes immediately Spent an hour trying to get it to work Tried to let developers know but cant get to the website     APP does not work
I struggle with procrastination and this is definitely a very helpful app Lots of cool advice and organization tools Definitely worth the buy                 Worth The Buy
Has some promise however it does not sync with iCloud nor does it use Reminders Would be worth the price but in its current state it isnt        Missing key features
Timer is buggy There appears to be no time logs and no editor for correcting timer events inserting timer events nor for deleting timer events Writing event to iOS calendar is a 1 time activity per timed event and the app doesnt have a capability to clean up its own calendar entries Developer responded to first simple issues indicating they can be fixed then stopped responding Its almost December most recent update was July 2014           bugs
I love this app Im full time employed a father of 3 a husband a full time university student and a participant in a Code Camp Needless to say Im a busy individual This app has been amazing in helping me prioritize my tasks and projects My production has increased and it seems I have more time for family There are somethings Id like to see Better explanation on Projects tasks schedule and things like that Im still learning the app so Ive spent some time fixing misplaced tasks and such If you dont properly place your tasksprojects you basically need to redo it in a different section It would be cool if you could split tasks into different time slots also Example I have two chapters to read in the next two days Instead of saying starts at this date and time and ends at this date and time itd be awesome if I could take that task and put it into multiple time frames without needing to input the task multiple times Maybe a copy feature for tasks Its small things like that which could be added and make this a 6Star application As it is now for 199 this application is a steal and a must have              Great Could Be Extraordinary
Interface is not very compatible with iPhone 6 plus and iPad landscape view The concept is cool but without an updated interface I just wasted my money Please update           Needs to be updated
Unlike Many Fitness apps on the store It fails to deliver dynamic userinterfaces that fit in one singlepage and isnt as tab dependent Update Nice Update with excellent style Enjoying the partitions between tabs and their colors Beautiful life transforming           GUI Needs Improvement
This is an original clever and encouraging productivity app The tools packaged in it to additionally inspire progress are helpful and worth using an X factor But even if procrastinating is not a major issue for someone this app has most all of the other desired basics and comparable bells and whistles of better known productivity apps like Wunderlist Omni Gtasks Clear or you name it With an intelligent and visually intuitive feel this app is sharp and ingenious Props to all involved I enjoy the experience of using it and the price is right no offense to the higherpriced apps out there benefiting from the illusion that high price and worth go hand in hand Also appreciate that there arent repeating costs or upsells lurking Well done very well done                 Star Awaiting Discovery
Hopefully Pomodoro is better     Disappointed
It does go a bit slower after the update and I have not yet figured out fully the purpose of the Tags yet It is a great app I have become much more organized with its use I use it all day long              Does what it says
I was listening to a podcast about mental margin You have too much you are worried about How do you solve it Write it out This app helped me do just that But also being able to delegate assign dates create tasks turn tasks into projects organize and more Im not a organized person so this is like a secretary or boss for me What should I work on Well just ask procrastor Whats next Just look at the app New responsibility Add it Big task Change it to a project Its great Worth the little investment for the time and mental margin I now have not having to remember papers or responsibilities                 I dont often spend money on apps but I did and Im glad I did
I really am loving this app Its helping me get so much more done When I use it at work it helps me accomplish much more and stay focused The QuickTask algorithm works really well and keeps things fun The only issue I have with it is with the timer sometimes it accidentally logs a task twice instead of moving on to the next activity I think as long as you select a new task to work on as soon as you complete a previous task it seems to work Anyway I really love this app                 Love this app
This in combination with Freedom Internet blocker and Scrivener is helping me break my PhD dissertation down into manageable sections 25 mins is an easy amount of time to focus on something and it feels like Im achieving something each time I log another 25 min chunk However I wish tasks could be imported from Reminders or Fantastical or other apps on my phone since its quite time consuming to enter them all separately and the poppsychology part that initially attracted me is somewhat underdeveloped they could be made a bit more interesting or rigorous But for the basics ie a timer with a task attached its great              Good for long project
Clean design and easy to use Very helpful                 Works great
App needs subtle refining 425 star now Im rounding up because I see the potential but the main idea is great I use it for all those projects that I know I need to be working on but need to catch myself from letting slide I still use Omnifocus for everything that needs to get done and must get done But I love to use this app to manage my creative projects that I dont like to put into omnifocus because I know they are everyday creative struggles and they dont belong next to all my errands                 Great Idea Clean Modern implementation
I use Procraster daily I like the stats It is helpful              I like it
This app combines tasks projects and timing with a lot some good motivational exercises to get the user started I think it is really great work and recommend it to others that are searching for a tool to help them stay on task                 Best Combination of Features
Quite simply the buttons do not function even after reinstalling the app And some buttons seen to cover up other buttons Perhaps an issue of compatibility with the newest version of ios8     Doesnt work
Had over 3 app for managing tasks Now Im down only to Procraster The stopwatch is incredible Since now I predict how much time an activity took vs actual time spent                 Awesome
Very useful and does exactly what its supposed to Ive become much more organized and efficient It would be 5 stars if the developer could fix an issue with typing Sometimes autocomplete goes overboard and overwrites what youre typing              Great app
this app has been so useful as I have a youtube channel simplymiraxo and sometime I can get unmotivated and lazy when it comes to growing my channel thanks to this amazing app I have been so motivated and am ready to grow thanks again                 helps me with my youtube channel
Adding up my hours and looking back on my progress with this app really helps with focus and goal achievement Its simple and effective                 Helps with focus
I finally found a actually working up to organize my life It was like a salvation to me It is easy enough yet has everything I need to organize my thoughts I love love area of responsibility option                 Nice
add                 Please support wide mode
I like the concept but it lacks features I need The app asks you which situation applies to the task youre procrastinating on Unfortunately it lacks my two issues when it comes to getting stuff done I dont feel like doing it right now Ill do it in a couple hours And Working on this task makes me anxious              Nice concept but not for use
Way more complicated than necessary May keep trying but Im wasting more time making the app work to help me get on track        Waste of money
Thank you                 Portrait on iPad
Ive used it for a few hours This is perfect for moving into action Im using another app for long term goals and deadlines This one seems great for breaking down tasks on a project that seems too unwieldy to handle                 Great Cognitive Awareness Tool
I been searching for an app like this for a long time Procraster is the most powerful selfmanagement tool that I have tried in the AppStore its a bit hard to understand at the beginning but please dont give up I strongly recommend to improve the tutorial to make the learning faster and keep the user interested                 Amassing app
This is by far the best real world procrastination app out there It guides you through simple process to setup Projects and Task with a real approach to addressing why we are procrastinating in the first place It then gently guides you to overcoming the cause by focusing on a single task using a inapp timer and a reward for spending time on that task not necessarily finishing it all at once It then charts your daily productive time and if you wish will actually post it within you calendar so you can visualize all of your completed productive time segments within the context of your other calendar items After a couple of days I could visually see how I was wasting time The app truly caused me to FOCUS on One Project and commit time to One task I found myself wanting to increase my Productive Time chart and fill my calendar with Productive Time entries The developer Simen has been incredibly responsive almost immediate response to email to feature additions I asked for a feature and there it was within a couple of days in the next update An upcoming update will include other request Ive asked for If you want to tackle your procrastination you MUST give this app a try there is no doubt Simen will continue to improve the functionality of this app and help all of us procrastinators Get Things Done                 Best antiprocrastination app
Ive tried to like this app had it for a very long time but theres just way too much going on in it Otherwise I wouldve not procrastinated for over a year to write this review because this app wouldve helped me overcome that hurdle I feel like it takes something fairly simple and over complicates it If the developer could make video tutorials on how to use the app it could turn out to be a great app Ill never know because it takes way too much time to fool with There are directions online but they are way too involved and very lengthy and Id learn a lot easier by seeing it being done and explained but maybe thats just me     Too muchclutter Complicated
Great app Does what it says and more Highly recommended                 Wonderful
Already feel more productive              Great App
Excellent app for GTDers and Pomodorites                 GTD Pomodoro
This app needs a lot of work What a waste of money Save your money and search for a free or cheaper app     Waste
I love the concept but for me the stats do not work Ive read the guide and Ive tried selecting different areasprojectstasks but it always says There are no stats to show Please change selected dates or projects           Stats
I am a huge procrastinator and it was really affecting and still does my personal and professional life so I splurged and got this app It really helps to imagine the smallest step and just focus on it until its done Plus it helps keep you organized and not burnt out I havent put a ton of projects or tasks into it so I cant speak for it slowing down but so far it works really well for me                 It helps
It seems to be a musthave productivity app Will come back to update this review in the future                 Still testing
Task management apps are a dime a dozen GOOD ones that focus on the important stuff are hard to find Procraster tackles a problem that every other app Ive seen fails to address when theres a bunch of stuff to do sometimes you just need to be told where to start And sometimes even the process of coming up with a list is too daunting to know where to begin Procraster helps you get started even before youve added your first task One improvement that Id like to see would be a little more guidance on breaking down huge tasks Procraster draws an analogy to planning a moon landing so Ill borrow that If I start from a project named Moon landing Procraster will ask me to think small and think of the very first task for this project My first thought is Build rocket Thats not thinking small of course but thats a key subproject It might be nice if Procraster could stop and make me think about this Build rocket task is it truly small and manageable or does it need to become its own project Of course Procraster offers the freedom to create as many projects as desired and to convert existing tasks into projects so this is just something to finetune in the automated advice not something that represents a serious design flaw There is one thing Ive run into that does fall under the latter A task can be started with a running timer counting down or a stopwatch counting up The timer represents the familiar Pomodoro technique work on a task for a fixed amount of time then take a break Ive run into a complicated situation with this though if I overestimate the amount of time a task takes then I must either let the timer run out or I must stop the task with a big red Give Up button I havent done the latter because I refuse to claim defeat falsely and against my will There are also a couple of bugs that bear mentioning 1 changing the timer setting for a task is often ignored although patience and persistence pay off and 2 looking up stats for any project always brings up the same project as if that were the only project being tracked But at this writing the author has a new version in the works and is offering a discount on the current version in the meantime So definitely take advantage of the sale price while you can This is a great app in spite of the bugs              Greases the wheels for getting things done
Simplistic design and works as promised Nicely done              Clean design
I am truly getting a lot more done And I was a heavy procrastinator I really do love this app                 I love this app
Really enjoying my first few days using procraster One thing Ive been missing since leaving a certain desktop app has been sequential tasks Very few apps support it this one does Other features like the random action chooser and advice section are helpful for those of us who struggle with indecision as a procrastination device The interface is clean and simple nice                 Packs a lot of great features in a surprisingly simple interface
Since the last update I cannot type using this app It predicts the wrong words and sentences as I write It is very frustrating Lots of backspace rewriting and rephrasing This is the only app that does that     Cant type
I like it so far using it for two days now My main gripe is the text prediction feature is totally wack predicts wrong words constantly Only app that has this issue not sure why its not just using normal predictive text like every other app I use              Good but needs a fix
If you can focus enough to input your tasks then you dont need this app So definitely not very good        Onerous
Thank you developers For helping me get through months of expenses                 Best app for those with ADHD
I like this app okay but its not flexible enough Under projects there is the list of projects then a checklist of actions under each project but sometimes those actions themselves have steps The project action checklists need another layer of sublists in other words This thing is supposed to help me get stuff accomplished right If youre doing research and writing for example there are multiple steps within each step Would really like the option to spell that out for myself I have memory problems and need an app that can do that but so far havent found one        Needs sublists
As a 23 year old graduate student with severe ADHD this app has become an integral part of my daily life My productivity has never been higher and I owe it to this app My only complaint is that the statistics are super confusing and hard to analyze If you want to help yourself stop procrastinating this app is definitely worth the price              ADHD students best friend
