I love this app for my daily commute I like to plan ahead and check the train and subway service before I start my commute This app tells me when and on which track that the next train will arrive before I even arrive at my station The app features not only MNR service status but also other MTA service alerts in real time This is a must have app for those travelling daily on the MTA Metronorth trains my most useful app Thank you
Track info for gct doesnt show show up until like 1 minute prior to departure if at all making track info for gct useless The settings button crashes the app Tried to tell app support about that but you cannot contact app support until you set up your email which you cant do because settings crashes the app The rest of the app is pretty good Schedules are accurate If they can update gct track info quicker and fix the settings crash this app would get 4 maybe 5 stars Almost there
I downloaded this app and immediately noticed the times on the Hudson Line didnt look right Metro Norths website shows the times departing Grand Central 13 minutes before this app says the train departs Good luck making your train in the evening if you take the Hudson line Times dont appear accurate
The metro north official app is a pain to use and this is much easier with a clean simple interface and display However it automatically switches directions frequently Ill set it to go from Westchester to grand central but if its a time of day the app thinks I should be going the other way it quickly switched back sometimes without my realizing it Ill head to the station only to discover that the train Im attempting to make is from grand central and I missed the corresponding train in by a few minutes making me late and leaving me with a half hour wait at the station Easy to use but I sometimes miss trains

Everyone says has a complaint about the other apps that is used for MTA This one gives you all the info you need its free ツ It just works
Love the app But one downer when you look up a route that isnt your default route then switch to another app or power down when you come back to app the route it resets to your default route instead of displaying the last route you were on This very frustrating when you search the schedule then check your calendar then come backyou have to search the route all over again Great but

I like the app and use it almost every day I would like to see location feature added so it could automatically update te table from my current station instead of searching through list of stations Good app quick with updates
I missed my train today since the app still shows the old Metro North times The app does not synch with the most updated train times MTA changes the times maybe 4x a year So shouldnt be that hard to keep this current Software not aligned with new train times

This ap could be great but instead it insists on alerting you nonstop saying the same thing multiple times per minute Once per incident is sufficient but I think it alerts you per passenger per car per train per minute late 967367245 alerts per service change

Very easy to use nice features and quite often gives correct train info But Dead wrong on quite a few occasions for no apparent reason ie there was no recent schedule change that was slow to be incorporated Worse than useless Zero stars Unreliable
What happened The app suddenly has no content no stations in the station list no schedules no nuthin
The other app I had require 13month to get the track number and delay info Much better than the other metro north apps
Very reliable for train times Track numbers are a toss up the app will never tell you a false track number but 30 percent of the time it just wont show one Three stars because the stop times are near useless If the train is delayed it DOSNT update arrival estimate Good for train times
This used to be my favorite app but they removed stations that I needed to get to work Now Im forced to use the Internet Removing stations
I didnt realize until recently that this is NOT the official Metro North app That wouldnt bother me if it was accurate It isnt Today for the third time and it has happened to my wife as well the app didnt show all the trains going fromto selected stations I wound up taking a local when an express was available Well thats the one thing this app is supposed to do I am deleting it today and have downloaded the official MNR app It cant be any worse than this Awful App doesnt include all trains
So as others have mentioned the official metro north app is way too slow and heavy to use Most times Im interested in two things 1 When is the train coming and 2 what track is the train on This app handles number one perfectly If you save a favorite it will even flip that favorite so that when youre going home it shows times for the reverse route Where the app fails is track info Its really convenient when Im walking to gct and already know what track my train is on When the track info doesnt get updated Im forced to have to fight through the crowd to see when my train is coming by looking at the screen at gct I dont know if they can fix this as Im sure theyre simply making a call for data and if its not there its not there Im guessing the problem is actually with the MTA Would give five stars if track info got updated quicker
This app was ok until a month or two ago The times are all wrong They are missing trains The New Haven line has more than 1 train leave GCT a hour this only lists one I find myself getting to the stations and finding other times listed than the ones in this app Im truly upset because I rely on this app to go catch the train from new haven to go to New York for school 4 times a week Not 100 accurate
Once again this app displays the incorrect departure time I just deleted it Wrong time
I got this app so i would know when the train runs and if its ontime or not Like the name suggests Well im 30 minutes late getting on the train because this app said the train would depart the station at 707 but it just showed up at 738 If the app said the train is running late or on a delay i would have worked around it Thanks Ontime app for making me late for the Knicks game and my date Ontime Yeah not really
For metro north Harlem line it doesnt display times for weekends whatsoever Contacted the developer months ago no reply no fix to the issue Regret paying to remove ads Recommend using the official app instead which isnt bad at all without ads and free Broken
Always says on time even when train is 510 min late as in just now and pretty regularly This happens all the time completely unreliable Never knows the train is late
This used to be a good app but the train times for my commute on the New Haven line are no longer accurate I even emailed and waited three weeks for the issue to be resolved but the times remain inaccurate Because the times are incorrect the app no longer pulls track numbers This app is now basically useless Train times off

The GPS feature on this app is awful When Im in grand central it shows me the times from my home station When Im at my home station it tells me the times from Grand Central I cant tell you how many trains Ive almost missed because I was luck enough to catch it and how many Ive actually missed because I didnt catch it in time Even when I switch it to the right destinations it switches back if I leave the app or close it Its incredibly frustrating Frustrating as hell
This app tries to be smart by switching the homework stations based off of the time of day While this works most of the time it has failed me more times than it has helped me Add a setting to disable this dumb feature Better yet use gps to determine which location is closest to me rather than blindly guessing Home train feature is annoying

If you need a timetable to provide a train schedule this will work great Useful information that the app was seemingly designed to provide however such as cancellations and service delays are not generally updated In the rare cases that they are its usually after the trains scheduled arrival Schedule worksbut thats about it
Not sure what happened but all the times are off by 35 minutes All the train times are off
Its a nice app easy to use but it fails at the one thing it has to do have the correct schedule Times for the new haven line are all wrong and some trains are missing altogether Completely unreliable Schedule is wrong and trains are missing
If you take metro north definitely DL this app It comes in handy especially when your in a rushif its a holiday or service change I would still take a look at the big board at GCS just in casebut so far this app is great Getting better all the time
