Minneapolis Skyway

App gives a good view of the skyway but offers no navigation tool You can save favorites but they do not appear on the skyway map so I dont see the purpose This app could be better if it added some type of navigation and allowed your favorites to show up on the map and then navigate to them via the shortest route Overall its helpful and provides guidance           Useful but needs Navigation

But there are issues The location needs to track closer to the map Right now it tends to wonder                 Good ap

I just moved to mpls and dont find this app very user friendly It would be extremely helpful to give the app an address and have it plot the most direct route for me via the skyway based ony current location I feel like a mouse in a maze using this app        Cant route your trip

Cant move map on screen or zoom inout     Not good

I loathe apps that want full access to my geolocation EVEN WHEN THEY ARE NOT OPEN     Full location access Sorry but NO

Fantastic Extremely user friendly and surprisingly accurate As a directionally challenged human my Skyway commute has been revolutionized Thanks to the Pan                 Sweet App

First time visitor to the city looking for a good app to navigate the skyway i did not find one GPS is less precise on cell data so sometimes Id rarely show up on the map where I actually was Many buildings not labeled Can only get directions to the few businesses in the database not to an address I couldnt get the map to stop automatically rotating when I turned the phone it is easier for me to find my way by rotating in my direction of travel I wound up taking a phone picture of a directory map in the skyway and referring to that     Used this and got lost

Couldnt zoom out It wasnt much help     Not great

Outstanding No longer will I have to rely on the occasional directory or my fading memory to take the most expeditious route to my destination                 Finally

Exactly what I need to navigate the maze that is the skyway during the cold winter months                 Really helpful

Tried downloading twice Wont open Just crashes upon opening     Doesnt work on iPhone 4

The app is not intuitive and not user friendly It allows you to pin a location and locates your current location but there is no way to navigate from where you are to where you want to go So no navigation feature The only good part is it tells you where you are so you can roughly guess which direction to go in but its confusing nevertheless as the skyway is a maze Also linking to business websites is useless as one can do that from our smartphones directly The apps main goal should be navigation which it doesnt provide Also all businesses are not listed and the keyword search is pretty lousy     Not useful at all

Finally an app to guide me around the maze that is the Mpls skyway system We used this app to guide us to and from Target Field to avoid the downpour on the way back and not only did it guide us directly to the Field but it remembered where we parked and guided us back to our car flawlessly This app will be beneficial for the regular downtowner or the occassional visitor                 Finally

I have been working downtown for years but always eat at the same places because the skyway is so confusing With this App I actually have ventured out to try new places that I had no idea were there And how cool that Yelp is integrated into the App Great work                 Sweet App

Used this app today navigating the skyway on my own for the first time It wasnt helpful The GPS is too imprecise to be useful and it was constantly jumping around and changing direction Maybe not the apps fault but it rendered the app useless To make matters worse the map has few building names and only a few landmarks Youre better downloading a good static map with ALL the building names There is enough signage in the skyway itself to move from one building to the next if you know how to connect the dots     Bad GPS renders this app useless

Skyway map doesnt scale to street map when zooming No directions Almost useless     Total crap

I cant count how many cold winter days Ive resorted to the city sidewalks since I had no idea how to navigate the skyway beast And everytime Ive been in the skyway I see several others as lost as me This app is right on              No longer a tourist in my own city

This app is solid The user interface is straight forward and extremely helpful I used ti have to rely on the skyway directories but not anymore Especially helpful when looking for vendors stores and businesses                 Solid App

Why do these apps REQUIREyou to accept using Locations services ALL the time Privacy people Plus the reviews tell me Ill probably regret trying to use it     Location services

Everything seems ok until you try and scroll to look around the app automatically centers you on location Super annoying Fix my add a center button for the last star              Great start

I only get to downtown Minneapolis occasionally so Im constantly lost in the skyway This app helps me navigate the often confusing maze of skyways I dont feel like a hamster lost in a tube maze anymore                 Hamster in a Tunnel

Used it to get from the hotel Minneapolis to 11th ave and this app had us going in circles completely unhelpful     Worthless

Since this is supposed to be a Skyway map the most important thing is that it work well in the Skyway Unfortunately it doesnt At one point I started walking north with it and it told me that I was walking south At another point it told me that I was in three or four different places in the span of a minute while I wasnt moving It might give you an approximate location but thats unfortunately about it     Doesnt Work Well in Skyway

Perfect This is just in time for my move to Minneapolis I had no idea how complicated this skyway system was and this apps release couldnt be better timing for my relocation Now I am able to learn the city and find all of the places I want and need to go Thanks                 Perfect Timing for a Relocation to Mpls

No more looking like you dont know downtown staring at the skyway directory You can now do it on your phone and make people think youre a hotshot emailing out your next business deal jk it is an awsome app to have though a must have for any chilly Minnesota winter                 No More Looking Around the Skyway for Directories

Totally useless Extremely difficult to navigate Apparently cannot save map coordinates for favorite spots App cannot tell you what is near you on the map No directions given I really cannot say how totally and completely useless this app is Embarrassingly bad     Glad I didnt waste money on this

The skyway overlay is not in the right location relative to the streets or building in some locations Many store and restaurants are either missing or in the wrong place     Not accurate

Will not map a route for you Without this functionality I might as well just use the skyway maps rather than using a tiny phone screen     Useless
