Minneapolis Local News Free

I used to like this app Some of the sites are poorly laid out for phone browsing but overall it was useful However recently it has become unusable due to incessant crashing This app needs an upgrade possibly related to updating the OS on my phone        Crash0Rama

Version 10 was ok this V 11 will be deleated from my phone news is a week old no longer can access Strib moble from app no east side fish wrap link either     Dont bother

Wow I have never seen an app so thoroughly RUINED with an update as I have with this app today You used to be taken to a page where you could choose between the Star Tribune and Pioneer Press Then you could easily look at headlines within each section of each paper Now there is no way to do that Everything is lumped together in one hideous chaotic mess and you cant even tell what paper youre reading the Star Tribune articles are identified as coming from their RSS feed but Pioneer Press articles arent identified at all until you click through Worse yet multiple links had expired when I clicked on them Even more annoying all the Pioneer Press articles take you to the full nonmobile formatted website not the nicely formatted version you used to see in this app Its almost like they sat down and tried to figure out how to make sure every single last aspect of this app and its UI was completely wrecked This went from being an app I used to read daily to being one I will not keep on my phone in its current version I cant even fathom what they were thinking by trying to jumble everything together Id give it negative stars if I could and I very rarely write negative reviews and have downloaded and tried out over 500 apps This went from being one of the most useful to one of the worst ever in one quick update Sigh     Ruined wlatest update

Nice to have access to a variety of media to stay connected to my hometown                 MEd

What crapwhat you were you thinking with this update I would give this 5 now     Once a favorite now will delete

Deleted less than 2 minutes after update     Worthless

Looks like this was bought out by Strib and now they want a subscription Not likely since there news is a week old Im in my 60s have read the news for a long time and I want to tell you that paid news paper subscriptions on line will never fly     Minneapolis

It used to be good but this new update is impossible to find anything in Was one of my favorite apps Not anymore        New version is awful

I had nothing but good things to said about this app but does anyone know the difference between the paid verison and the free lite version                 Great App

I got the free Lite version Seems like it has everything I need for finding out Twin Cities news and weather Its handy and seems to work well Just have to put up with some minor annoying ads But for price I paid thats no big deal In fact Im still trying to figure out why anyone would buy the paid version From read the info Ive read I cant see the diference between the paid and Lite version           Overall I like it

I love how how various local news sources are all together but it crashes almost every time I open it Sometimes it crashes as soon as I open it and sometimes its after Ive read a couple articles Id rate this app 4 stars if it wasnt for the crashing        Good app but crashes

I like this Could you add news from citypages and the Minnesota Public Radio newsroom for additional news sources           Nice aggregator of MN news

This app is now a royal pain and has lost most of the functionality it had I will revert to the old version or dete the app Why pay the Strib for old and outdated content This is now junk Thanks for wreaking an app I liked to use previously Please fix this     App update is horrible Do Not Update
