I have been waiting for an app that does this since iPad s have existed The lack of dev tools has always been the reason I couldn t effectively use my iPad for web development I love that this app lets you simulate different devices and screen resolutions perfect for writing CSS media queries I also love the ability to live edit CSS and see changes just like I would in chrome                     Finally Chriz99999
On light coding days I prefer to work on my ipad I walk everywhere lighter to carry It sucked that couldn t easily view the generated source and always had to clear the Safari cache This app solved both of those problems Bonus allowed me edit the source in the app browser and edit with different Responsive views WIN Thank you for your hard work developer                     Exactly what I was looking for rengland77
Trying to fix CSS like in firebug on a tablet was elusive for me I tried all kinds of workarounds All clumsy and ineffective This app works For example This latest version lets you select an area on a page and let s you test edit the changes in the CSS or HTML and see the result According to some reviews on a previous version of this app you were not able to test edit The developer promised to add that feature and he did in this new version Rowby Worth every penny                     Works and worth it RowbyG
I never write reviews but I ve been searching for this app since I got my iPad It s the answer to the lack of web development tooling on iOS devices and is more feature filled than I thought possible on a mobile platform It has everything I use Chrome devtools for and has a solid professional interface I plan on using this app for the majority of my web development Furthermore the developer seems very invested in the app and seems to be actively developing it This app is the future of the iPad only lifestyle for programmers who feel slightly too tied to their Macbook Pros I m completely serious                     This app is the real deal It deserves much more recognition littleguy230
I can t thank the producers of this app enough for making this much needed development tool for iOS The flexible responsive preview box is just such a delightful relief The tap to select feature under elements is super awesome and smooth and takes you directly to the related element in the DOM ah what a relief The addition of the new feature that lets you edit HTML and CSS for a quick preview now makes this a desktop level inspector That new feature addition just made this app a perfect 5 Well done guys And thank you                     Fantastic App for real web front end development Chief BowWow
This app is super fast and allows you to use the JS console and see the CSS rules and computed values You need to dig through the DOM manually no ability to tap to select elements For me the biggest wins would be the ability to edit HTML and CSS rules and have the page update so you can test changes Dev said this is coming soon Code syntax highlighting would help and needs standard shortcuts for Cmd L Cmd R etc The responsive testing mode work great you can quickly test different viewport widths and even test wider layouts than your iPad supports via zoom Recommended EDIT I completely missed the really obvious Select by touch toggle which works very well Thanks for the reply and I m looking forward to the next update                     A solid app seems to have frequent updates Ficharker
This app does exactly as described but I was hoping though that I could edit my html and css elements and see the resulting views in this app for testing When the feature to see these test changes to the site is added I will be giving this app 5 stars                 Good Web dev Viewing LlamaShock
Although it s a bit rough around he edges this inspector actually works on the iPad You can select elements with touch and edit directly in app Once split screen is enabled and little glitches such as having to restart the side browser tab when selecting a new element are fixed this will be my go to app One step closer to replacing my computer with my iPad Pro                     Finally A Web Inspector for IPad Denichi Designs
