Bulbs are ok but vacation mode is spotty often I set the mode an extra day longer just in case I come home a day late Usually never see lights come on that extra day when coming home at night In the summer time when it is light till 930pm here in Seattle they come on at 5ish when not needed till after sundown Waste of energy and bulb life Need to be able to set a range that they come on Also breaking out the phone waiting for app to connect blue tooth can take forever if they do connect at all My family and myself are tired of this want more instant light on old school way switch other brands have a wall mount that can handle this with out finding phone Also I just bought the google home which can control Phillips Hue with just your voice Looking to sell my ilumi soon and convert out of frustration Also haven t wanted to get new updated app after seeing how the reviews are really poor         Looking to switch to Hue Dfygdgxf

New update lost 3d touch function on iPhone and now or takes forever to even open the app The music sync won t load my music and I often open the app to see all of my ilumi missing Not sure what happened but this is a joke I purchased my first ilumi from their kickstarter and I can honestly say the app has gotten worse Worse still is the fact that great improvements like 3d touch iOS only all on and user sharing features only worked for a short time I had not updated the app until this week because I purchased more bulbs Big mistake Wish I would have stick with a bulb that works with nest     Is there less than one star Droid, no more!

I see a lot of negative reviews on all ilumi apps but personally I haven t had any issues works just as advertised and there is no interruption or interference with the Bluetooth connection the app is a little clunky and could be arranged better but other than that I am so far happy with this bulb                 So far so good Tinderterrible

I am awarding 1 star because I don t agree that this first app should be pulled from the App Store I find it odd that this original ilumi app is being discontinued being that the newer app has major issues with connectivity stability UI and the overall UX When you look at all of the recent reviews for the newer app it becomes clear that there s a widespread problem that is not sporadic This app has had its problems as well but at least its been generally possible to control the bulbs and set timers most of the time The new app is completely useless to mostly everyone but at least this one somewhat works not ideal but somewhat is better than useless I don t think it s the right time to force people to a completely non functioning app when this one still works enough for many people to keep using their bulbs in some fashion via an app I think it would help if ilumi would start a user beta testing group Oftentimes it s difficult to identify hardware and or software problems outside of a company s building without having real world use cases from which to obtain data bug reports general feedback etc Perhaps some experienced beta testers under more realistic conditions i e your customer s homes offices etc can provide crucial feedback that the team evidently needs to develop the app your ilumi supporters clearly deserve I personally have 19 years of hardware software beta experience and would happily volunteer to help test via TestFlight or a similar iOS beta platform and I m sure others would do the same if you were to ask I backed your most recent campaign for the light strips and happened to inherit the standard bulbs brand new in the boxes from my brother who backed the first campaign when he decided to adopt another bulb platform while waiting to receive his ilumi rewards There are lots of people who believe in this company and want to help so please consider it everyone s thoughts Personally I think it makes sense to scrap the newer app that s apparently unusable leave this old app alone for now albeit its limits and then start working on developing a totally brand new app from scratch Your hardware is quite nice but us early adopters are sadly not getting our money s worth with all these app issues It s such a shame that your app development doesn t seem to be working out Whatever the issues please explain the details more clearly via Kickstarter updates and know that we still support you but it s getting difficult for many people to stay patient when the product just hasn t been working because of several failed app development attempts I m admittedly far too patient lol If I can help with beta testing or anything else please send me a DM on Twitter MashaT22 or a private message through Kickstarter     Discontinuing MashaT22

My first one was easy quick set up so I ordered 2 more These just won t connect and the help solution is quite involved It requires resetting too much on my phone My phone is updated and just fine The problem is not my phone Also the new app doesn t work for me at all     Disappointing Zhcatt

If you bought it for the music sync like I did prepare to be disappointed First of all it only works with songs downloaded to your device no streaming Secondly the music sync feature is more annoying than interesting It has poor bpm detection and you can t customize how it responds to music You have to pick from a few equally crappy presets     Waste of money Meh367864

I bought these lights so I could set a schedule because I am out of town a lot and I wanted to have my lights turn on at night when I m gone When I touch anything regarding a schedule on this glitched out asshat of an app it crashes Keep trying guys Then maybe AFTER you figure out what you are doing you can charge 150 dollars for 2 frkn light bulbs Seriously     So sick of people launching things that don t work 

Husband has new pathetically bad see reviews app me this older semi working one The lights are almost garbage now as some shake and flash like SIEZURE GIVING LEVEL which is not due to users or multi apps thank god I didn t DL the latest one which literally won t work for the most part but I assume is due to so called firmware updates my husband had done using his version of it and the dang lights Now they just decide to flicker that s the word I was looking for and we have to use regular bulbs to wait out the issues in soft or firmware Also CREATE A SWITCH OR ON OFF OPTION AT THE LAMP WHILE NOT DISABLING THE USE OF THE APP SOME OF US WANT TO TURN OFF LIGHTS WITHOUT FINDING MY TELEPHONE for god s sake it s not a mole or wary it s a device one must carry if it were a mole or wart half asleep I could press down and turn the light OFF or ON just allow the light to be turned off multiple ways whilst the app can still speak to it whatever position the switch is in This could be easily done with a small piece of something between the bulb and software and the actual screwing in of the light always keeping it connected to the blue tooth whilst allowing a user to turn it off on at the source     Lights FLICKER NOW ugh Ramonablu

My review for the previous version unfortunately its not changed Please fix this guys a s a p I ll come with a review as soon as you guys gonna fix the huge bug this latest version have which is the fact that now the app it s useless for me I use an iPhone 6S Plus up to date firmware and I am using ilumi ML3001W PAR30 Color Tunable LED Smartbulb Large Arctic White for which I paid 106 24 from Amazon with taxes included on February 2015 but the problem is that the app simply won t connect to the bulb anymore and my account lost all the previous custom settings that I had Please fix this a s a p thank you P S Thankfully the bulb remained at the color and intensity that I like for my bedroom but other than that it s just like all the other bulbs since I can t connect the app to it and gotta use the wall switch to turn it ON and OFF I lost the count of the updates you guys did and same huge problem grrrrr Do you even read the whole reviews Coz the I m pretty sure you got them all     STILL HUGE PROBLEM WITH THIS VERSION ALSO simu_ro

The app is much less functional than the previous version While they offer directions to migrate bulbs from the old app to the new one it did not work for me Still no integration with Smart Home products or Echo despite promises that they would be included with this version The one bulb I did add to this new interface is very difficult to control properly Seriously considering dumping the whole lot and going with another smart bulb that actually delivers what they are promising     Failed to deliver FreeCyber

Buy Phillips hue lights Save the trouble The bulbs do alright in theory but do not function as advertised The music function only allows me to play 2 of my 1 000 songs the rise and shine schedule feature simply does not work and also the torch feature where you supposedly are able to come close and they turn on and walk away to turn off doesn t work My lights never turn off Even after tinkering with the range and walking significant distance away Basically all these bulbs did for me was change colors when I wanted them to and turn on and off If that is all you are looking for by all means     Features do not work Nick294882761894003873

I have tried two bulbs and many different sockets and the result is that the lights are pieces of junk Manual reset if the bulbs does not work This is a joke and should be reported to the BBB but I ve wasted enough time on this     Trash Jettison04
