The Vive is an awesome device A lot of complicated things mashed together to make an immersive experience However this application is simply a dud It does not work It will pair your phone to the PC but I could never get so much as a single notification Based on the reviews I am reading along with my experience this app should be fixed or deleted     Remove this app from the store DasShovel

I have only ever tried using the Vive App in iOS 10 as I was using the iOS 10 beta at the time I purchased my vive The app will not reconnect to your phone without repairing manually each time SteamVR is started     Broken blaiwesd

HTC you really have no business touching mobile devices if this is the level of experience you bring to the table with Bluetooth The app flat out doesn t work if it ever did it doesn t now I got it to work one time through the frustrations of flipping in and out of Bluetooth pairing and killing your app and restarting it If mobile integration was where your bt failures ended I d be annoyed but fine but oh no your stack for controlling the lighthouses works randomly your staff has no understanding of troubleshooting and openVR developers on Reddit are actually more helpful than you are For a device that costs 800 you really throw customers to the wolves Lastly can you please pre test your vive desktop upgrades before you butcher our machines Every swing update is met with a frustrating set of new problems like having to reinstall the app because it has lost whatever authentication key it had or the software stuck with some pleas wait overlay lastly and this may be on me as a consumer but 6 times I went to the Microsoft Store to try this headset out and 6 times there were issues with it and I can see why even at the time I got to actually put it on there was no sound I should have known better but seriously is this what we can expect when you rush things to market to beat a competitor     As a phone manufacture this is sad EricSakariasen
