FTP Picture Upload

Does exactly what it says and no crashing Pretty sweet app love it Maybe add secure FTP I can run ftpd on my server but cringe at that                 Awesome

This app is fantastic but theres just one thing Id like to see in the next version preserve the EXIF data especially the geotag              Just one thing

Does exactly what it says I have a simple gallery site that just checks a folder every time you load it and this is perfect for it It offers number padding so that photos show up in order must enable I learned the hard way when photos loaded 1 10 11 12 2 21 22 I havent tried uploading from my camera roll I have a standard FTP app for that It could use a photo queue as it uploads a photo immediately after you hit Use and makes you wait before taking another Im missing moments here Lastly the killer feature would be Open to camera so that I dont have to waste an extra tap and loading time to bring the camera up once starting the app Bugs It said my credentials were bad after working before I went into the Server Settings and hit Done to close without changing anything and it uploaded my picture right away weird One pic uploaded as a 0 kb file its lost forever Sorta bug when you put in your server credentials it uploads a test image cameratestimagejpg or something this period in the front makes it a hidden file It showed up in my gallery but not in FTP and took me a minute to figure out how to delete it Just hit Show hidden files in CyberDuck on Mac Overall Im happy Logging my trip in realtime for friends and family to see              Love it

Awesome app Works cool except for FTP connection testing It successfully uploads my photos but shows timeout errors while testing FTP connection Weird              Great app

The app worked just like it said It connects with my ftp and puts the picture right on my blog                 App works great

is a good app the only problem is the configurationin the set up for FTP the connection                 Good app

It took a few trys to get it to connect to my ftp site but the problem was that I have several domains on one account so I had to direct FTP CAMERA to something like this nameofdomaincamera in the field where you are prompted to put the upload to folder Once that was done it worked great If you have one domain on one account it should work perfectly without that adjustment Pictures are crisp and clean Im very pleased with this app                 WORKS GREAT

This APP works like a dream and the quality of photos are very good Another excellent point to note is that it will upload both a thumbnail and a larger image various sizes for you to choose from at the same time This makes it possible for your thumbnail to load in your webpage and hyperlink to a larger image Really nice You can also set the quality of your images There are other good settings that you can change but I wont mention them here for brevitys sake This APP cannot connect via SFTP So I set up a dedicated FTP account on my web server with limited access pointing to a special folder on my server named iphonepics I then setup FTP access in this APP to this dedicated FTP account thus allowing me to leave the Upload to Folder field in FTP server settings blank Then I coded my webpage and waaalaaa Bottom line is I have been looking for an app like this and FTP Picture Upload definitely hits a home run I liked this app so much I also downloaded it onto my wifes iphone as well as my daughters Now we all can post pictures from our iPhones to our website within seconds Super cool App Thanks Update 092514 IOS8The app disappears when you click on a photo so I am unable to name the photo before loading up a photo Please give me an update                 Excellent

Using this app from my iTouch to simply and quickly upload as it happens photos to my website Works great Love the sizing options the ability to name the photos I want my photos to use the same name overwriting the current live picture on my site Works great Nice job                 Perfect Simple Effective Does what I need

Great app fast works right out of the box Would like to upload multiple files in one login but fine otherwise              Works great just like it says

it works but square thubnails you cannot see the photo compare and select what you want to send No record of uploaded photos A mark on the thumbnail would help no multiple selections keep working        almost good

Handles FTP uploads of pictures flawlessly even with nonpassive mode I like the naming and numbering scheme Please let us configure multiple FTP servers Great job                 This works great

This app has recently been screwing up my blog It has been uploading pictures with older filenames instead of the new names that I specified I really wish I could get a refund instead of being a paying betatester It did work fine for awhile but I have no idea how its been screwing up like this     Looking for Another App for the Job

This has been an absolute waist of money I installed and it never worked In fact its hung with photos shaded out Ive uninstalled and reinstalled Changed settings Nothing Im hoping for a really big update that might unhang the app     Not good

This program would be vastly improved if FTP operations could be consolidated from a queue Waiting for each picture to upload before proceeding is time consuming Id like to be able to upload my entire camera roll with one click        Needs a queue

Exactly what I was looking for It does what it advertise An update that can be added is the ability to select multiple pictures and upload them in one action Five at a time will be nice                 Great App

This application is represented very truthfully It does exactly what it says it will do once the application is correctly configured For website publishers who use a lot of images in the course of publishing websites the automated creation of thumbnails on upload is a godsend This application is ideal for photo blogging as I created a web page template that was configured to display the pictures the second they are uploaded I have used this application to take small pictures for four different websites This applications only limitation is the limited capacity of the IPhone camera If you are familiar with the nuances of FTP servers you cant beat this application If you know nothing about FTP servers you are going to have a hard time with configuration I have found that this allication works best when the passive FTP mode is enabled when uploading to a Redhat Linux machine That is as objective as I can be                 FTP Picture Upload App Evaluation

I installed the app set settings tried the test it worked Then I selected a photo fromy album sent it no problem Then I took a picture from within the app it took the picture allowed me to name file clicked done and it came up with an error that the location I am trying to upload to is not there Confused because I tested it and uploaded another image too just wont work with this way I will change review once this is fixed If no fix then this will remain     It only half works

Its a very good app and does what it says it does It would be nice to know the name of the image after its uploaded Instead it just uploads a file and give it a name prefixnumberjpg where number is the next number in line Dont remember the last number Too bad              Good but could be great

I mistakenly thought that since it claimed that it would do multiple uploads that you could select a bunch of files to upload No one at a time This is misrepresented and has been uninstalled in record time What a joke     Dont waste your money

This app is unique in that u can rescale images to fit your upload requirements I recommend the following then this app will get 5 stars immediately 1 Ability to add more then 1 FTP account 2 Ability to list and delete image files from the target ftp server I have to use a separate app to delete a accidental uploaded photo Greatly appreciated feature 3 My last and certainly most Desired is the ability to select multiple photos to cue up for upload to server it gets annoying when u want to upload 5 photos u have to select one photo and wait for upload then you select next Etc Im sure this can be an easy update THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS WELL THOUGHT OUT APP the animated home screen menu is a cool feature Keeps the app looking and feeling HIGH TECH           GREAT app FEW suggestions

I had no issues with configuration type in the pertinent information FTP addy username password pick your settings and you are good to go Not sure the developer could make this any easier Suggestions for enhancements yes I would pay more for this retention of geodata on an optional basis and suport for multiple uploads at the same time Combine this with the App Photogene and you are good to go I have set up a template on my personal website to turn the images I upload into an onthefly gallery using the thumbnails this app creates Easy to setup easy to use then easy to share Excellent              Excellent application
