Works great for my needs                 Excellent
I use this for an 80s cover band that in play in We have over 80 songs in our catalogue This app makes it so easy to organize set lists and take notes The metronome function is also a life saver as Im the drummer and have to start off most of the songs                 Amazing
This app has everything I hoped to find in an iPad replacement for turning paper pages and then some                 The great new way to play
Best app for musicians                 Excellent
So very happy to have a better application to use than iGigbook Proper design solid feature set and wellsupported Id love to be able to import existing fakebook PDFs without having to plug in all the titles myself but the import and bookmarking is so welldone that its not really a big issue                 Fantastic
Upgraded 2 days ago to version 901 Have an iPad Air 2 with 128GB memory running latest OS forScore now opens and immediately crashes I use this for performances I never had an issue before this update Now I have to return to my paper copies Please fix this quick     Upgrade to 901 crashes
This is a perfect app Perfect Ive been trying all kinds workaround solutions for sheet music on my ipad and it was a big hassle Im very happy to have found this app                 Finally I found what Ive been looking for
I was so impressed by this app I went out and got a new iPad Air 2 so I could use it to contain all my paper choral scores With its many clever tools I can annotate my scores more neatly and precisely during rehearsals I now have my entire choral library at my fingertips Instead of a thick music folder with paper scores held in place by rubber bands I now use just my iPad With a black cover hand strap from IBlason the whole thing weighs just under 15 pounds 661 grams                 Love It
This apps strength is in the sheer amount of versatility and detail put into its functionality It offers more than you think and works quite well out of the box But if you learn all of its functionality it will prove to be an especially well developed and useful app The one place it falls short that I see executed better in other sheet music apps is the way it lists out your library in a small drop down menu instead of a large display similar to iBooks which is much easier on the eyes especially with pictures of the composers on each file square as Ive seen in other apps So because of all the detail put into the app it can occasionally be slightly tedious to use Regardless the functionality is still fantastic                 Extremely versatile
So far this app does what I need it to do Its worth the purchase                 Forscore and Seven Minutes ago
If youre a musician this app is the killer app that justifies the iPad Theres nothing else on the market that comes close to providing the functionality and usability of ForScore for either practicing or gigging Stop carrying around endless folders of music and upgrade your life today                 Gets everything right
Dont know how much these guys paid for these good reviews but this app is frustrating In the middle of a performance I will press the lower right corner and it will decide to turn the page BACK Going back to unRealBook     Frustrating
Muy buena para todo tipo de músico                 Excelente
Finally a music reader that works like it should                 Awesome
I just did my first rehearsal of a show at a nearby summer stock theater using ForScore to read the trombone part instead of the old school paper book Stupid page turns sometimes with stoopid mute changes on top of them convoluted road mapscutsinserts A thing of the past Yeah it was a very minor pain to scan the book so I could get it into ForScore but way easier than dealing with paper lips pencil marks and photocopies for the next 24 performances Some stuff Id like to see in future updates Undo in addition to Clear so I can remove just the last annotations I made instead of all of them on a page Ability to Crop or add a page break for those times when you just play a few bars at the top of a page When in landscape mode otherwise you have to hit page down twice Add capability to jump to the destination in Links so that you can do that with a foot switch if you have that capability Im using an iRig BlueBoard with 4 switches                 How did I get along without this
I had been using Gigbook but it lacked the ability to annotate the pdf for special notes This app has been perfect It works much faster and more reliably with my AirTurn pageturner I can create a pdf on my PC and load it to my Dropbox and then load it to my iPad anywhere there is access The notations are easy to do and I can even put them in first as hand notes then later put them in as type 800 plus songs and it barely grazes my storage Perfect performance                 Great app
I just downloaded this last month It is the first app I have used on a Gig for IPad I am still learning the app Lots of features quick page turn reading in landscape which scrolls then turns the page Sets All the music one wants for a gig or set Importing is easy from iPad Google drive or using Safari not Chrome importing a url on your iPad There are editing options including fingering I havent used those yet The help pages are excellent Great app Buy it especially if you gig or you want to store music in one place                 The best app for Gigging Musicians
This is my app of choice for music reading and storing Its everything you want and need                 Perfect
I found this app last week when looking for a decent way to manage pictures Id taken of sheet music Its far beyond just a decent way to organize sheet music Every feature Ive thought of is here and it is all very logically laid out and easy to find                 Phenomenal
As a composer Ive long been searching for a way to quickly input drafts of my scores for quick annotation proofing etc this fits the bill on all counts and Ive got no complaints Highly recommended                 Perfect functionality very well puttogether
ForScore is intuitive easy to use fast and efficient An absolute delight and fantastic way to carry all of your sheet music in one compact device Now if Apple comes out with a 122 iPad nirvana will have been achieved                 Superb Sheet Reader
Great place to have all my music in one place                 Handy app
This app is quite amazing It does so much that helps you organize and use your library of scores and they keep improving constantly                 Fantastic
This is favorite app as a choral musician Highly recommend                 Excellent
I was introduced to this program by a viola player I met at an Easter party I was looking for a way to get a more readable format than iBooks which I had been using for a while now I find this app much more usable and especially appreciate the ability to write over the PDFs I download with finger and pick directions I am a guitar player and dynamicsphrasing suggestions I am using this as my main music reading app and I would also recommend using the Cue app related to this if you are hooking your iPad up to a TV with an AV connection it lets you turn pages remotely with your iPhone from a distance which lets you sit at a distance from your TV                 Just what I was wanting
This app has made my gigging life so enjoyable A LIT music stand with all my charts and a visible metronome that remembers tempos for each song Outstanding Pro tip keep a PDF of staff paper in your Dropbox and you can chart songs with a stylus using the annotation feature                 Id buy an iPad just for this
Im confident using this app in live performance A good product only improving Thank you                 Stable and dependable
Using it for rehearsals performances church services I like the setlist that can store the sheet music for one performance Cropping the music is a good option however when zoomed in the pages wont turn until its in the original size Annotating is not as precise as I would prefer however with a stylus it would probably make it easier than with your finger A great app Its better than hauling a tote bag full of binders and scores And lighter too                 Performance ready
Ive been using this app for over 2 years and I love that I no longer carry around binders of music In fact I think Ill be recycling an entire shelf of binders very soon Ive helped other musicians learn to use this as well and each year more choir members are iPad based so we have less whooshing page turns Each update of the app has brought improvements Im very pleased with forScore It is worth every penny                 Fabulous App
Im using this to replace my 3 ring binder full of song lyrics chords and tabs It takes a while to set up unless you have everything in PDFs but its worth it once its all uploaded Ive been using it for a couple weeks and its frozen on me twice Had to close it and reopen it but seems fine afterward              Great app for musicians
I HATE paying for apps I try to avoid it at all costs so you wouldnt think Id spend 999 on an app ever I am a headline entertainer for cruise lines and upon flying out to a ship I had a musician in the band hand me back my music after rehearsal I asked him umdont you need this tonight He said nope Ive got it in my iPad already He proceeded to show me this wonderful app and sure enough there was a playlist with my name Zach Winningham Ive run into this guy a couple more times and hes never needed my charts as he already has them saved Any any markings he wants to do on the music he can do without marking up my sheet music as well But the main time I use this app is when I am doing solo acoustic guitarvocals gigs around Las Vegas my home I have all my lyrics and guitar chords in this app and I have never had to lug around big clunky binders of sheet music again nor have I needed a music stand ever again I suggest purchasing the AirTurn BT105 pedal which bluetooths to your iPad so that you can easily turn back and forward through the pages during live performance with ease There is a slight learning curve when you first open this app but dont let it intimidate youthe app is as sleek and organized as can be It is super easy to import sheet music or even just lyricsguitar chords that youve typed out on Word or screenshotted from the internet HIGHLY RECOMMENDED                 Amazing App Well Worth the Money
Just using it for study purposes but it works very well                 Great App
I play piano and sing with various combos This app allows me to manage all my lead sheets No more binders and errant papers Several band members have made the same move ForScore folks are responsive and committed to their product which works quite well Ive never had problems with it Just a couple of questions here and there They always respond promptly                 Great app
As a professional orchestra musician I should absolutely love this app However even though it has so many great features and deserves 5 stars Im giving it 1 star because its missing the continuous page scrolling option As a musician I am constantly scrolling during practice or performance This means I have to rely on a really bad app called Adobe Reader just so I can get this function If ForScore had it I would use it for all my music reading needs Instead I have to spend all my time on crappy apps     Needs Continuous Scrolling
Using as electronic script and has been stable and reliable Some difficulty with sending PDF with annotations if large doc              Stable for performances
This app is great for studying practicing performing and simply compiling scores forScore should consider developing an app for the OSX platform as well                 Teriffic
Number 1                 Forscore
I have been using forScore on my iPad Mini now Retina iPad Mini 2 since November 2012 I have 814 pdf files in my forScore library and am very happy with forScore Regarding the remark by mfd14534 that 85 x 11 PDF files do not fill the iPad screen that is probably because you are using PDF files which are scanned from paper at a resolution of less than the 1024 x 768 points of the iPad To solve this problem scan at a higher resolution Or better yet do not use scans Instead create or purchase PDF files which should be vector PDF files Real musicians use real vector PDF notation files Although I have a bluetooth pageturning pedal which I use when playing bass or accordion when playing piano I find the third pedal to be too confusing so in the Settings I have set forScore to respond to taps and have become quite good at tapping the screen with my nose to turn the page It may not work for you It works for me because I have an iPad Mini and am nearsighted Therefore because of the smaller screen and my eyesight I pull the pianos music stand up closer my face than most pianists Most grand pianos have this adjustability Unfortunately most electronic keyboards have a nonadjustable music stand which is farther away                 25 years with forScore Another nice update
This app gives me the first workable way to read music given my low vision The Reflow function allows me to magnify music and then read it as if on a horizontal TelePrompter music moves across the screen from right to left The scroll rate is easily modified to meet my needs and the nature of the music This feature works well with pdf documents This app doesnt teach you to read music rather it lets the musician view the music Other appreciated features include the ability to connect to my drop box account and the ability to annotate for example highlighting accidentals GREAT app                 Great for musicians with low vision problems
I use forScore to have charts handy to jog my memory for lyrics and chords I create a Word document and then save to Dropbox as PDFs Of curse the app does much more but in this way I can eventually memorize the tune by abbreviating it more and more                 Very useful
Until recently I have been very happy with ForScore However right now it does not allow me to turn the pages I have to go to the spy glass every time for the next song Also it will fade out in about 40 seconds and if I dont tap it immediately it will go black Im at a loss to know how to correct these problems     Forscore
I am a working jazz musician with literally thousands of song PDFs For me this app is pretty useless because it doesnt actually read the PDFs it just shows the PDFs big difference If the metadata is not already part of each PDFs page the app has no way to search for a specific song Also there is no blank page one can use to actually write a new song from scratch This is not a scoring app as advertised This app lets you take preexisting charts and mark them up Thats about it If you are looking for an easy way to sort manage and search PDFs that have no metadata you are out of luck All they had to do was integrate an OCR to actually read the notes and words on the pages and it would be a winner But not for my purposes     Eh not as versatile as folks say
I tried several music readers I play at least once a week and it is easy to put playlists in The app so far has been stable and has not bombed out during a performance Good annotation Works well for me I use the Bluetooth pedal to turn pages and that works well              Works great
I seldom take the time to write reviews but am making an exception for Forscore I find it incredibly helpful and utterly reliable With Airturn its a complete gig solution I found it complicated at first with a steep learning curve but thats to be expected with a tool so powerful Be prepared to spend a bit of time in learning and setup and youll be rewarded                 Fantastic app
Since the last update which by the way erased all the scores stored in the app it crashes constantly during edit mode It has left me stranded at important rehearsals and that is unacceptable for an app used by professional musicians Please address this issue because it was completely fine before the update        Last update crashes constantly
This works very well in any performance setting Ive used it for Solo Recitals Duets Trios Quartets Quintet Brass Choirs and even a Full Ensemble 5 stars Would recommend for any musician                 Great for any type of performance
Easy to add songs Easy to add and edit large PDFs with many songs                 Exactly what I wanted
Every ensemble I teach uses Forscore It can do amazing things and it keeps getting better                 The best
Edit This app keeps getting better with every release Kudos to the developers Edit 2 I am really impressed by the developers of this app They keep adding features and improving functionality Original review This app is a very good music reading application There are many different ways of importing scores including my favorite Dropbox Page turining is very fast all you need to do is touch the current page and the next or previous page is displayed If you need to jump multiple pages the Link featrue works great Writing or typing on the score is easy It is even easier if you zoom in before you write or type The only negative is that standard 85x11 pages are small on the iPad screen You can crop and zoom but it would be better if there was a crop and zoom on the fly mode Maybe something like a gesture that zooms to a preset level No complaints this app works very well and is a great value                 Excellent
This is the perfect App For organizing your scores and having the ability to edit them I have also purchased PageFlip a wireless foot pedal for flipping the pages and it works like a charm I highly recommend ForScore                 Great App
