Are the words lieutenant and tennis related? What did phony refer to centuries ago? The origins of these words and 35,000 more are available in this necessary companion to any word lover. Including over 35,000 etymology ...
This is the worst app barring none that I have ever purchased Etymology
I want a refund I downloaded this app for several origins of words as the app opens but wont allow me to search for anything it just crashes on me Not worth the 199 PS I only gave it 1 star because it wont let me send this without a rating Refund
Not nearly as useful as I had hoped for 199 Often the primary word such as please or laud is unavailable whereas Displease is wonderfully explained as the negative of please Mediocre
What a joke Can I have my money back If you buy this crap you will regret it Terrible
Does NOT work Typed in word in search NOTHING happens Dont buy
I NEVER buy an APP without reading reviews and the first time I do I get burned This APP does not work at all I want my money back you fraud I am a very disappointed English teacher This APP doesnt work
I bought this app because I was curious about the word vireo The app conveyed its meaning history in a scholarly yet conversational style It seems thoughtfully constructed Am pleased surprised Wellpriced Scholarly conversational
Not worth it even if it were free It is a complete or incomplete hack job Does not consistently provide origin of all words or history how it has changed through the years etcetera Whoever provided the data for this needs to look up the meaning of etymology TGF
This app doesnt work I want my 199 back Whats the etymology of refund
I had a larger vocabulary when I was six than this app has I dont waste your money The support link leads to a page entirely in Chinese This is a scam and I want my money back Are you kidding me
