I downloaded this game recently and it s great 7 Mages utilizes an older dungeon crawler system turn based combat general movement but also expanses upon that system with a modern aesthetic Definitely worth checking out                     Great dungeon crawler Vamrin

Just bought the entire game and it has performed incredibly poorly crashes continually with no save so you have to start over and over from the beginning Don t waste your money until it s fixed     Oh Come on Fix it Carpatz

On the second fight the combat mode remains on while the defeated enemy has turned to coins I approached from 3 diff angles on 3 diff spaces and the issue was consistent Impossible to progress iPhone 5     Unfortunately unplayable Debisibiamania

I did the free trial and liked it enough to buy the full game It has a different style of player and game play than some others and it adds some cool and unique challenges vs the normal grinding games A few of the puzzles were a bit difficult to figure out but again that gives some variety to the game A few things could be improved inventory management was cumbersome to drop multiple items after returning from a quest Also I wish there was more variety in the weapons and armor I seem to have topped out on most items pretty early on perhaps the nicer items could be more expensive later in the game I ended with a bunch of money and nothing to spend it on                     Fun game Filthyjason

If you like old time dungeon crawlers you don t get much more state of the art than this Excellent graphics top notch sound design and inventive gameplay that actually lets you split up your party make this a unique game Also despite what some reviewers have said it is NOT very difficult if you take the time to think about what you are doing and fully understand the spells and songs The songs are amazing There are 5 instrument types in the game and as you play each different one it actually ads that instrument to the sound track I have wasted hours just playing around with my band of mages There are 15 or so songs as well and they sound great                     Best Dungeon Crawler on IOS txfeinbergs

This game has beautiful graphics and plays pretty smooth but as another reviewer said the curve drops off like a rock after the crypt it s almost impossible to level up because the only monsters you can verse are way too strong and you can t get more weapons because gold becomes scarce because of the lack of monsters wish you guys could change this this game had so much potential     Good at first but turned bad Natstermanne

Not for tap tap tards This game is fun creative and visually stimulating The areas to be explored are just wicked cool Having 7 party members gives a lot of flexibility for main character specialization Biggest assets Stimulating but not impossible puzzles Starts off easy and progresses to challenging The game has a really great progression which includes both puzzle difficulty and battle strategy Varied AI strategies monsters have unique battle tactics This makes for fun engaging fights Beautiful zones to explore I cannot brag enough about the scenery GREAT job for a mobile RPG Suggestions for improvements When enemies are far away automatically engaging in tbt combat mode can be slightly annoying because the monsters sometimes don t even come to fight This consumes a lot of time waiting for each monster s moving turn Even though the player has a lot of options for play through the difficulty of monsters and puzzles in each dungeon unfortunately dictates a mostly linear play order This is acceptable However the player should be better instructed of this play order For instance the ship is intuitively the second place to explore after the crypt but the number and level of monsters there is far more difficult than the swamp Finally the amount of available gold seems to be on the low side Because some areas are left inaccessible after play through and monsters do not respawn it feels as if there is not quite enough accessible gold to properly outfit each character At this point one character is being used solely to play the looting tune and I m not even sure if the difference in acquired gold is significant enough to warrant this monotonous use I feel this detracts from the dynamic play which is so fresh and exciting in this game Overall this game is ABSOLUTELY worth every penny This is a real game No stupid micro transactions to distract you Just buy the game and have tons of enjoyable spelunking                     A real game for real gamers Addabunny

The core mechanic is good if you re into these kind of games I got bored because the pacing was unbearably slow I had only learned how to set the walking speed to fast after I got out of the crypt Afterwards I committed suicide by releasing an ice golem from its prison The game is punishing and slow if you didn t already have an interest in these games                 Slow pacing no hand holding Monkeyah2

This game has some dastardly puzzles One thing that s really special about this title is that the developers clearly prioritized making a series of puzzle challenges out of novel mob encounters with a degree of escalation that always keeps it fresh The puzzle elements are well introduced and the magic based hint system managed to avoid ruining the atmosphere With a setup like this they still somehow managed to create a system that let s you identify an angles for optimizing your party s strengths to incredible and often necessary effect Few RPGs manage to yield such a satisfying payoff for your self directed strategizing                     Wizardry Style Goodness Adam Augusta

After the crypt the difficulty curve is more like a cliff Every monster can and will destroy your party There is no care taken with progress and very little utility in the save function to allow you to go back a little without having to constantly micro manage saving The graphics are good but the whole setup is just absurdly punishing and therefore totally disengaging I would rate zero stars if I could     No balance at all Koala404

I ve only played down to level 2 so far but I loved this game so much that I felt compelled to leave a review I grew up in turn based grid RPGs like this primarily the Wizardry series so I ve got a HUGE soft spot for this particular genre 7 Mages is an excellent upgrade to the games of my youth and I can t wait to delve further into it I especially love how they implemented music into the game too This aspect really harkened back to the Wizardy series and their bard class Ok well that s enough for now I want to get back into the dungeon                     Excellent Wizardry Type Dungeon Crawl Macatron
