JumiAmp – Remote Control for iTunes & WinAmp music & video play

Constant disconnecting makes this app nearly inuseable stable wifi at home When it works it works but after about a minute it disconnects There is no way to reconnect inapp so you will constantly find yourself closing and reopening the app The response time on a stable local connection can be very bad leading to frustratingly fighting for control of the app The windows software is soso but I still find it will occasionally launch duplicates of itself which have to be flushed via task manager w7 x64 In its current version I would not pay full price for this 99 its only a margineable pickup at best     Problematic

This app works great When you select something it happens instantly The app has great response the only issue is that scrolling is kind of lagging but there will be an update to fix that So 5 stars worth the price                 Excellent

My wife and I both love this app Whether were doin laundry or dishes or just hangin out with friends music is just a click away                 Awesome

I can control some snafus of my radio station Thanks Jumi Now I wish for a microfone and sound on my Ipod Would be nice with a mute first the mic pleaseeeee                 Love it

I can say that this program is really amazing I can control my Winamp from my iPod perfectly I also like that I can change songs from this program to my playlist on Winamp For the price I definitely say Get it Its worth it                 Amazing program

I love it I use it often But it needs something Something like search Like search in playlist I got playlist of over 10000 It would be neat to search in playlist It would be 6 stars if it can do that I know that 6 stars are impossible Its a joke So update with that feature           Its pretty cool

I am using windows vista and an iPod touch and this app will not connect to my windows media player I dont think that it is the app because I use al of the other jumitech apps but thisone doesnt seem to work jumi maybe another update may fix this problem if it is the app itwpuld be very appriciated     Good idea but doesnt work with my computer iPod touch

If you are looking to just control your Winamp from your iPhone this app works fine HOWEVER if youre hoping to play your Winamp tunes and listen on your iPhone DO NOT BUY THIS APP The support forum implies that you may need to buy Jumimouse or Jumicam but its very vague     CAUTION Its remote control ONLY

I have only used it with my iTunes library so I cant speak for WinAmp It works well with the basic Pause Stop Next Previous and volume controls I would however like to see a better UI for my iTunes library It appears as a list of all my songs in alphabetical order There is no search feature or the ability to select Artists or Albums I feel this is a basic feature that should have been included Another feature left out is being able to select the playlist If youve selected one through the computer you are unable to switch to another one However I do love the fact that it can work off the 3G network and not just a wireless network Its something that the Remote app should look into All in all a pretty decent app Just update the UI and it will be five stars           Pretty good

Whats the point of 3G access if it doesnt play music over your phone This isnt any better than Apples remote app that is free     No sound

Finally an app that does exactly what it promises at an INSANELY low price WIFI or 3G provides incredibly fast and smooth response with Windows7 64bit High quality video streaming Automatic discovery makes setup a snap Interface improves with every update My only concern is that I will now expect the same quality from all other apps in the AppStore                 Jumi apps deserve 10 stars

Good app to control the song playing and volume Would like to be able to select playlists and then it would be an awesome app I use it with Sony sair to stream music all around my home              Good app

this is so easy to set up and use the display is much better than the other apps I like the pc program that works with all the jumi apps tells you your ip addresses so you dont have to guess Thanks Jumi                 great

I swear I purchase so many garbage apps from this market Where to start with this one Tried the lite version and was able to switch music in iTunes well Then purchased full version Cannot get volume to work with iTunes on windows7 machine Cannot get music library to load Only thing I can do is next song and rewind and fast forward Other then that I must be in front of pc to choose songs if I want to select a song thats not the next one in the list Would not recommend     Another waisted app purchase

Its buggy and unstable I select a song and when I press play it plays something completely different Scrolling through your library is nearly impossible There is no search function It will not play through an album it just shuffles through the library even when shuffle is off The organization of the library is completely whacked out If you have more that 1000 songs good luck finding what you want in under 5 minutes This app is a complete hassle and not worth purchasing I would demand a refund but Apple fails in that department Im fully disappointed Funny too that no one will see this review or reply Apple I want my money back This app does not do as advertised Between this and my recent iTunes purchase issues you will be lucky to ever see me spend a cent on your company again Get it together     This app is a waste of 399

Dont buy it The pc side is unstable It spins off a new socket listening thread every minute but never closes them consuming resources until it crashes Pc app is free so try that buggy program first if you dont believe my review     Garbage

I have had several av guys come by my house quoting thousands of dollars to install a musicvideo distribution system For far less you can DIY If you have an old laptop with WiFi and hard drive storage for your collection i just plugged into my home av system and BAM instant av distribution and most importantly control from anywhere in your home Easy to setup about 5 min fiddling with the app and your the DJ On the minus side it would be nice to have complete control of WinAmp EQ settings etc and since some of my song file names are long it would be nice to have a scroll feature since for some files I cant even see the song title considering how much you could spend on Sonos or similar systems 399 is HUGE bargain if you have a spare laptop sitting around and a sound system to plug into UPDATE DO NOT USE THIS APP only wanted control of my music but I found JUMI joystick running and I did not ask for it only found it when i tried to add another mouse had to fight it tooth and nail it does not give up easy This app will turn your PC into a zombie heads up apple this one is rotten fruit NEVER download remote software that doesnt give local control ie a non local software with a dongle that had access to your pc over the Internet I would shut these guys out ASAP              Super App needs some tweaking

It does what it needs to but it has room for many improvements Number one would be the ability to choose the playlists from the app You have to preselect the playlist in iTunes to play it It meets basic needs though Hoping updates will be coming so I can give more than 3 stars           Needs more features

Worked on first try and is very responsive all I suggest is a search feature to type in and more iTunes player controls and also to be able to choose playlists in iTunes I did notice when I played a playlist song from my PC the iphone app would display the wrong song name because the app saw it as song 3400 of my library Other than that great job on the app Looking forward to some updates              It tech

ATTENTION My personal opinion ALERT People are so counter productive This app is backed by brilliance There are kinks like everything else I can drive home and tell Siri to warm up my music WHY ARE PEOPLE SCARED OF BEING PATIENT Who wouldnt want to ENCOURAGE an app to simply fix little things Im not even mentioning kinks app developers arent stupid they will work out bugs and kinks ATTENTION My personal opinion ALERT Leave the mean and ignorant reviews for the apps that arent intuitive and are counter productive PLEASE PS I worked in an industry light years away from the technology behind this app and many others so all this is my humble opinion Thank you computer gurus for keeping most of the ignorant people away By away I mean keeping them from tainting your beautiful products cheers RED                 GENIOUS
