Im really tired of finding a route on the local trams in Basel then clicking farebuy to find that the stations Basel claraplatz are not found Please fix this so that I can buy TNW tickets from the timetable I regularly travel with my family It would be helpful to save their names and birthdates Not much has changed in the last year still terrible usability and I regularly buy actual tickets with cash rather than deal with trying to buy tickets on the app           Routes not found for purchase

Why the feature FareBuy does not working Please fix the farebuy bug           Good but needs some improvements

This app looks like it will come in handy during business trips to Switzerland One comment I wanted to make is that the departurearrival toggle switch is color coded opposite that of the iPhone settings where typically blue indicates the active selection              Cant Wait To Try

You dont need a chip card to find and buy tickets for any Swiss public transit Works for bike supplements halfprice cards local metro upgrades the whole nine yards Search the national schedule pick a train bus cable car etc and order a ticket against the CC you have on file Issues an eticket barcode right on your phone Just dont run out of battery because that will make it hard to prove to the conductor that you really did buy Limitations Wont sell international tickets although does a good job with timetables If you need local bus or metro it wont sell you a ticket until you search the route from the main station to main station but then you can buy alternative tickets local upgrade upgrade origin local transit upgrade destination local transit or both                 Easier than the platform vending machines faster than waiting at the counter

This app would get 5 stars easily if it worked properly all the time The timetable function alone makes this very useful app Since the last update odd things happen 1 Take Me Home button does not work Instead it only searches based on the last location searched 2 Timetables work for the remote stations that I travel to but FareBuy always returns with station not found Significantly annoying Please get this fixed           Needs big fixes since last update

It is a very usefull App and it is very detailed                 Awesome

I just LOVED it Thats why writing a late night review while still in Switzerland If you dont have a data plan like me I looked up all my routes in the hotel the night before and took pictures of the timetable schedules that I can pull up offline anytime Mid you enter arrival and departure cities and time if you want the app gives all the train timings with connections and where to change platforms platform numbers etc every so many minutes Very simple and easy The changing platforms are usually next to each other so take the train right across and the times given are usually few minutes apart thats why I love the app and the Swiss transport system Mostly the trains have same times weekdays and run about every 2060 minutes depending on the route The timetables at the stations and the little timetable books given at the station as well as the tourist information services are awesome                 Awesome App cant do without it in Switzerland

This is a great tool if you travel within Switzerland Easy to use and accurate                 A must if you travel in Switzerland

I have had this app for a while but it proved its value this past weekend I was stuck out of the country during the European flight stoppage due to the volcanic ash and was able to use this app to help me get back home Not only was I able to see what my train options were but it also provided me with real time updates on the status of the train This came in very handy during the last leg of the journey when the conductor kept making announcements in French that I did not understand I checked the app and by checking the details of my train schedule I found out what was going on the train was so delayed that it was going to be end its route as soon as we arrived in Basel Switzerland instead of completing the journey to Zurich The app even had the information of the train that I was supposed to take to finish the journey This app is a must for anyone living in or planning to visit Switzerland                 Excellent App

Used to love this app Worked perfectly Now I get lots unknown error occurred please try again later messages when I try to search for a route Also has trouble finding the right station and the timetables dont work consistently Hopefully they work the bugs out I used to depend on this app as Im new to the country        Used to work great

The agents on the train have neither knowledge nor sympathy for you if you have an issue with this app The tickets purchased on the app are not as flexible as those purchased at the ticket office which are good for 10 days So dont be lazy buy your train tix the way you always did and just use this for schedules and info           Use for info only not purchases

When purchasing tickets under iOS 7 it will ask to enter a password but there is no input box Its a pity that an app issued by the swiss federal train entity doesnt feel the need to update it     Purchasing tickets not working

I HAD to leave Chamonix to Geneva today couldnt spend another night I thought No problem Ill just use my handy SBB app to see when the last train to Gare EuxVives is See Geneva EuxVives is always SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than Geneva Cornavin The app told me and when confusion arose I showed it to 3 people including the station agent in Chamonix to make sure I wasnt crazy that the last train was at 1803 Only problem was the app failed to recognize the date was a Sunday The last train to EuxVives left an hour before that Result I had to spend 150 US on tickets for two to Cornavin that would normally have cost about 60 to EuxVives More than double Thanks a lot SBB for your POS app     Warning This app can cost you a lot of money

Essential for travelling by Train in Switzerland We used it for a month and it worked great Suggestions it would be nice it the schedules could be accessed without needing wifi or data roaming Also it would be great to be able to narrow search parameters to only include trains that take bikes that wouldve been helpful for us anyways One more thing A map of the specific train to show where the 1st class2nd class carriages are as well as where the bike carriage is sometimes its a separate carriage sometimes not so you know where to stand on the platform                 Loved it

I used to rely heavily on this app now it is almost useless It always shows all departure times as NOW for all trains I have deleted the app rebooted my phone reloaded the app to no resiolution        Great when it worked

I used this app on a business trip and it worked great I didnt purchase tickets on it because I had a Swiss rail pass also great because it covered everything including boats I travel around Basel and out to Berne Lucerne and Zurich with this app just doing a little preplanning The main thing in switzerland is to find the trains last stop and for tramsbuses make sure you are going in the right direction Tramsbuses have a lot of the same numbers just opposite directions Would recommend                 Great app

Addition So after several more month of usage nothing has improved Ease of use is still not provided In hope of some of the developers reading this Ill leave a german comment Der Kauf von Erweiterungstickets bei der ZVV ist eine Katastrophe und funktioniert nur wenn man weiss welche Station die erste in der neuen Zone ist Andernfalls bekommt man immer ein Standardticket von der App angeboten I use this app regularely While i wouldnt want to miss it simply because buying tickets without the need for cash which is still mandatory for some regional trams or busses i cannot say that im happy with it The app is slow and buying things like extension tickets is just crazy complicated As is buying tickets for other passengers Please improve usability and this app will be great        Great idea a nightmare to use

This is a must if traveling in Switzerland via trains I found it easy to use and accurate                 Lifesaver

Easily figure out routes quickly from place to place I only wish there was more than one take me home address to save in the app                 Makes my life so much better

The app does what it should show train times But the interface needs updating All your other apps have a nice modern interface why does this one not Also it is a shame that you cant see the price of the train ride without a login I dont have a credit card so I cant create an account and have to load up the full website to see the price           Could be a lot better

This is the first time I find myself writing a review about an app but this app really asked for it Four different problems within one week each answer from customer service made even less sense than the actual problem and made this app even more useless Worst app ever Great potential very poor build No connection between online purchases and mobile ones No international travel purchase option for a country surrounded by Germany France Austria and Italy mind you Credit card issues additional traveler reduction fare problems Dont want to know whats next This app is removed now     Worst app ever

This application is fantastic the 30 update of it really nails it Purchase of ticket directly over iPhone on air is just flawless                 Fantastic

This app lets you easily buy Swiss rail tickets in English with your saved CC info The conductor scans the ticket barcode right from your iPhone Avoid ticket counter lines and navigating all the different Swiss languages Doesnt support buying special packages eg RailAway Bellinzona castle trip or let you buy a half price card to go completely paperless Includes train schedules and estimates for how full each segment will be                 Simplify Swiss travel

The idea behind the app is great and even the user interface is decent although could certainly be improved What kills the app however is its complete lack of stability It crashes all the time cant connect to the server or times out When that happens not even a restart of the app helps the phone needs to be completely rebooted My train ride is 20 minutes and thats about how long it takes to buy a ticket Useless     Great concept poor development

Many times searching for peakhour trains like Zurich HB to Luzern for 5pm the app will say sorry there are no trains at this time Searching the same route at sbbch gives you 5 diff train routes at least This app needs to be improved           Many bugs

Ive just returned from a vacation in Switzerland and this app helped us find what time the trains were I mostly used it to see schedules and fares And then I purchased the tickets from an agent or a machine After boarding the wrong train a couple times my girlfriend and I decided to ask everyone we could if we were on the right train Agents also would provide extra info this app could not like that one trip is more scenic than another etc these details are important on vacation This app helped a lot and was always right about train arrival and departure times Also the gates and fares were 100 correct I really dont understand the difference between timetable and deparr Many comments seemed to be saying train times were wrong and this was my experience until I realized you should ALWAYS use Timetable                 Very helpful on my vacation

This is a good app much better than the first version which never auto updated really bad idea However why not take this all the way and allow me to purchase a ticket directly from the app and support viewing the ticket like MMS and PDF does Lets go make it happen              take it all the way

Best way to find train schedules in Europe All the euro rail websites are useless but this app nails it Good interface Great having intineraries saved to the ipod for reference while jogging to the connection                 Super handy

This new update 51 for SBB doesnt open with my older iPod Touch with OS 61 Wish I can revert back to the old app so I can still access the timetables     Doesnt Open

Works fairly well most of the time especially for timetable searches However it is unreliable for ticket purchases Stranded me last night on a Mobilis ticket way across town with unknown error Time to step up your game guys     Stranded me a few times

This app links with my online account and lets me buy an electronic ticket The schedule is fast accurate and allows great route planning I love it I only wish that you can purchase multiple tickets for other travelers with you              It works extremely well
