This app used to be decent but then they added a link on the bottom of the candle which was kind of cheesy Then they removed the candle altogether so the ENTIRE APP IS JUST A SALES PITCH TO BUY THE PAID VERSION Had they not done this I probably would have bought the paid version but since they did this I bought a competing candle app instead It s wrong to offer a free app that isn t an app at all There are reasonable ways to encourage people to buy a paid version of an app but this is definitely NOT one of them     YOU RUINED IT Mac100

Although it looks very much like a nice little candle the effects the developer tried to implement fell way short It really does look realistic just like the screen shot The flickering however is terrible The reason it s getting low scores is for the extremely slow choppy animation as the flame leans rhythmically from one side to the next No randomness poor responsiveness and claymation like movement UPDATE The old version at least was usable The new version is not Nine tiny candles on a black background looks rediculous and casts no light FAIL Back to the glowstick for me Also I can t give zero stars iPhone fail     Works but Otterhurl
